I misread your post, I thought you were talking about the 66.2. BCs between two different calibers doesn’t mean much. Because BC is proportional to Sectional Density, the heavier projectile will usually out perform a smaller caliber projectile at longer ranges. Personally, I don’t really care what a pellets BC is. I’d rather just see how it performs real world.Advertised by shooters on agn thats why everyone is shooting them
If you don't mind me asking what are your final settings you settled on for slugs & or pellets Name that tune lol & please let me know if you are 100 % Happy with your purchase.I misread your post, I thought you were talking about the 66.2. Here’s as honest of an answer as I can give. I haven’t settled on a tune yet. I’m probably doing too much dabbling. Currently I’m shooting the AEA 50.5gr pellets at 936fps. 135bar. I get about 23 shots at that tune. It’s probably a 95% tune. I haven’t touched the regulator since FX-USA set it to 140 bar, it has crept down to 135 bar. One of my best groups was with the AEA 66.2gr pellets - most posts say they’re not very good. All of this is with the 700mm 1:40 pellet liner. Both pellets and slugs shoot well out of the 700mm 1:16 liner. The weird part is that the Standard Deviation (SD) went from less than 4 to 7-9 when switching to the pellet liner. It is not projectile choosy at all and seems to shoot well from 850-980fps. I would say it is my most accurate slug gun. Build quality could be better for the price, as in harder alloy. I do not regret buying the Panthera MKII at all. As a matter of fact I would like one in .22 as well. But, that might get nixed to try a an RTI Mora.If you don't mind me asking what are your final settings you settled on for slugs & or pellets Name that tune lol & please let me know if you are 100 % Happy with your purchase.

Bill first off for a 25 shot card at a match you should be prepared to shoot at least 50 shots if not more. Its seldom that that the wind allows for less. 2nd have you pushed a pellet through your pellet liner to see what the inner diameter feels like? Its possible that is the cause for the higher sd that and possibly weigh a few pellets as a small change in weight has an affect on velocity therefore sd. By the looks of it you had 2 shots that killed your sdHere’s as honest of an answer as I can give. I haven’t settled on a tune yet. I’m probably doing too much dabbling. I would like to maybe drop the reg to a pressure that allows 30 shots, just so that I could shoot a 25 shot benchrest card without refilling.
It has the best trigger of any of my airguns. All in all, it’s a real pleasure to shoot. If I could only keep one airgun right now, it would probably be this one. But, the BRK Sonoran and Ghost are close.View attachment 21951
I’ve pushed a pellet through it, but probably will do it again. I was thinking the same thing, maybe the groove diameter is a little larger. But, it’s always two or three shots out of 10-15 and some of them are 25fps off. It makes it’s enough to be a 1 or two point difference. It would explain FX not being sure what was causing the SD swings. They asked me to put it back into the box stock configuration and so I swapped the liner back to the slug liner and put the AMP II back in.Bill first off for a 25 shot card at a match you should be prepared to shoot at least 50 shots if not more. Bill, thanks for sharing your experiences! So, I set the Huma flush when I installed it so that I could start low and then increase the pressure. I refilled the rifle and then set the reg to 230 bar. That was 10 bar below what Fx said they set the A,P reg to, though most times it actually read 135bar. To my surprise that after working on the rifle and swapping the regulator, the POI was right on where the POA was. The velocity had actually slightly increased. The Huma regulator is definitely in my opinion more efficient than the AMP II reg.. my Panthera Macro dial like a lot of others apparently won’t index on 13. That’s somewhat ironic considering that DX states “13” should be the base setting. I shot three decent 5x5 100yd targets before it jammed last night. I will try to shoot another with the Huma regulator. Yes, I know I’m rambling to myself, but these are kind of my reference notes LOL.
