I think the way the tactical fore end is attached is better than any stock you could make. Stiffer.

I have the DRS Classic 700mm .22 and put the Buc Rail AR style stock on it. Regulator replaced and it has been a very trouble free rifle (knock on wood). It is a slug monster and I get 30+ shots before a refill. The II looks like they did make some improvements and as others have said the Mark Is are on sale!

I saw him shooting the 34(?)gr size ones, everybody seems to like those. I haven't seen one positive review for the heavy ones yet, but I will definately go back and check again. Still, they have been out for a while now...

For the DRS MarkII, I really like the look of the red striped stock! That is a sharp looking accent. The barrel removal ease is huge too! I like removing my barrel to clean it.
