It,s nice but not my cup of tea, . If 1 does bench shooting only , than I guess this is for that individual. Pretty soon we will see Videos on how the new FX Bench Mark can Hunt , LOL. I own a Thomas that puts that rifle to shame. Then again this is my own opinion, It is one ugly rifle, my King in .30 cal in ST Bonze chasis out classed this ugly Bench Matk Now lets practice I in our backyard with out shroud or moderator & see how fast the police come knocking on your door. I guess they don't call that backyard friendly. Where was the decibal reading ! Hearing protection ? Safety first

All true. It has its place but in my mind this is part of the reason there is such disparity at the big comps. This gun removes most of the human element by design. Me i think rear rest and bipod keeps the human element involved and leads to the best actual shooter not a guy that can just push a button.

Pretty soon their will be someone that shows up with a VISE with 50lbs of weight with their rifle clamped in the jaws In all honesty clamping your rig in some padded jaws that doesn't move takes away human error. This will show how good of barrel you have on your rig

Rests do not provide the magical solution that non-users believe. I’ve moved back to bipods and bags and I believe Im shooting better, at least it seems like it. When I can get the front and rear rests lined up so that the rifle free recoils and stats right on the bull it shoots real well. If it’s slightly off (most of the time) it’s worse than using the bipod.

Just remember something easy. If you are shooting left , some times it is from to much cheek weld . Vise versa if your left hande.I learned that shooting Big Bore , when I was holding to tight

Will the king stock fit this?
I personally had a Fx King in .30 cal in a Bronze chasis, with long bottom rail 700 cc bottle & to boot a bronze Athlon Aries 4.5x29x56 to match. Picture that in your head, & when I tell you it would blow away the FX Benchmark, Not only was it a bench rifle ,I even used in field of a tri-pod. Best of both Disiplines . One rifle that did it all. I even hunted with it. My feeling is why purchase the Benchmark when you can own a King. Apples to Apples the King is the King. For inquiring minds who want to know. Like I say Truth Be Told 1 & Done. I sold it thinking I was going to get the latest & greatest fron FX . I am now approaching the 7 month waiting game , that I have posted here in another discussion. What the $%#@& was I thinking.

I did , It was one heck of a rig. I almost regret selling it. But it is what it is. It was a gem, & the perfect shooter. I also had it in the Brown GRS stock all finished with high gloss finish. I went for the latest & greatest & you now my story of the extended wait time for the other rig. That rifle was a true GEM & what a call a true performers. I did't need it to fund another rifle. But like I said , I went for the latest & greatest, & now I being punished by the wait time I'm am sure that gentleman is completly happy with his purchase. I went fron having , In my opinion the multi Disiplines rifle that filled my needs to Zero , just like that. By seeing that rifle ,I take pride in function as well as looks. But looks arn't everying LOL How does the other gentleman like it , have you chatted with him ? I built that rig to actually compete in 100 yard Bench rest. It was heavy enough with little to no recoil. Off a tri-pod it was phenominal @ 150 yards

Only chatted with him to say i almost bought it. He had a thread about buying it and seemed to be happy and doing well. Think he changed to a pellet liner
I actually shot both slugs & the .50 grain Aea out of it. For the pellets 935 to 955 fps . I actually told myself this rifle is a keeper. LOL REG was & 113 Bar. My future plans is to build a true 1 of 1 100 Bench Rifle
