Do you know what the pressure of its original factory regulator is? How many initial velocities and shots can the jsb44gr offer? How do you all adjust it? Would it be better to set the regulator to the loosest state of the hammer spring at 2400psi? I hope to get a relatively balanced adjustment. Thank you

I haven't owned a 30 cal, but I have the same size Evol in .22 and I would imagine a good reg pressure would be somewhere between 2100 and 2250 for pellets. 2400 probably better for slugs. I believe the 30 cal magnon with a 44 grain pellet at 880 fps is rated for around 30 shots

Thank you. Judging from this video, the regulator seems to be set at around 2400psi

heres my .30
mine is shooting the 44.8 g 2 920 and I get two and a half mags really almost three as I recall. but mine is a 18" barrelView attachment 13957
Your regulator is set relatively low. Won't it exhaust a lot of gas? It seems that mine is just the opposite. Setting the regulator a bit higher actually increases the number of shots. 18 inches seems a bit long. For those over 18 inches, the version without a tray would be wonderful

no clue as to rather its a lot or not?
I think 18" is long I would rather have the 15" for my needs but I do love this gun.

Thank you. I want to say, why does the regulator seem to exhaust more when the setting is lowered? There is a gap between the adjusting nut of the spring and the spring, and it is already in the loosest state
It is a free floating hammer system, that is normal. If you stick with that 2100-2300 reg range you should get the best shot count and power possible.

Thank you for your reply. I have tried a 2200psi with only 860fps for the 44gr, but it seems that this setting reduces the number of shots. Setting the regulator to 2400psi can increase it to 890fps. Increasing the regulator power actually saves more gas, and the effective number of shots also increases. Is this normal? But it seems more friendly

I prefer the integrity of the 15-inch model, but I also like the functionality of the 18-inch one. It seems that you can't have both fish and bear's paw. I hope there will be a mid-grip version without a support. Haha
