Others Does anyone recognize this thing?

I heard some rattling in my DonnyFL Koi after shooting today and when I removed it this piece fell out. It looks like some sort of staking pin because one end of it is knurled. Is it part of the Alpha or part of the Koi?

This may explain about a half-dozen unexpected weird shots I experienced while shooting today.
Any ideas?

I do not believe that it has anything to do with the Koi. I took my tanto apart and it is just a tube with screen and felt wrapped around the tube. I don't think there are any pins used at all.

I have no idea how it could have gotten inside there. I haven't taken anything apart on the rifle except for removing the front picatinny rail, so definitely nothing on the inside.
I'm wondering if it somehow got stuck to a piece of the Koi such as the screen or felt during assembly.
No kids in the house either. However, the cat we have is always up to some sort of shenanigans, so maybe he put it in there to torment me.
