Daystate WolfPack Successes At RMAC 2025

Before the dust completely settles from RMAC 2025, let’s take a moment to check-out the outstanding results posted by the Daystate WolfPack team competing there..

In our heading photograph above, we can see – from left to right – John Bagakis, Van Tucker, Co-Captain Lauren Parsons, Fady Kiwan, Ziad Abou Arraj, Co-Captain Barbara Pellegrino, Chad Kentner, Terry Clark, John Tafoya and Dustin Harding. Tony Pellegrino took the photograph.

Notably, friends Fady and Ziad had traveled half way around the world from their homes in Lebanon to compete in the competition. That’s dedication!

As we’ll read, two thirds of the Daystate Wolfpack made it to the finals at RMAC 2025, in one discipline or another. But – as Co-Captain Barbara Pellegrino explained to me – the real success for the team was the way that they all worked together.

While everyone shot well – of course – all team members supported each other in every way possible. They shared advice, experience, tuning tips and camaraderie in a way that was second-to none. Plus, they all had a great time. Fantastic!

RMAC 2025 Speed Finals​

The big news here is that Lauren Parsons stormed to first place in the Speed Finals. Congratulations Lauren!

Below, Lauren and Fady share the winners rostrum.

She was shooting a Daystate Delta Wolf Performance in .25 caliber. The gun was stock, although Lauren did have a number of PRS accessories fitted to her rig.

John Bagakis is always somewhere in the top performers in every event. This time he made the finals, but not the podium. As usual, John was shooting his personally-modified Daystate Red Wolf in .25 caliber.

John Tafoya also made the Speed finals shooting a .22 caliber Daystate Red Wolf.

Below we see John shooting in the 1980’s-themed PRS competition. He’s actually shooting from a water bed! (And who kept those old posters?).

Van Tucker was another WolfPack finalist, again shooting a Daystate Red Wolf, this one in .25 caliber.

Below we see Van competing in a PRS stage.

And a special mention goes out to Dustin Harding. He reached the quarter finals in spite of minimal practice and shooting an otherwise completely-stock BRK Ghost with a .30 caliber SubMOA barrel.

RMAC 2025 100 Yard Benchrest Finals​

Below, the Benchrest Pro Class final scores.

Fady excelled here. Obviously not jet-lagged from that long flight from Lebanon, he placed Third with a score of 228 2X. Fady was shooting his BRK World Record BRK Ghost in .30 caliber, fitted with a SubMOA barrel.

Lauren Parsons was among the winners again. Her 221 5X gained her Ninth Place. In this event, Lauren was shooting a BRK Ghost with a .30 caliber SubMOA barrel.

Again, John Bagakis made the finals. However this time he used a Daystate Blackwolf in .25 caliber.

Another WolfPack finalist was Glenn Horner. He was shooting a BRK Ghost customized with his own personal harmonic modulator and tuning system. Clever guy!

More RMAC 2025 Shooters​

In fact there were more AoA-sponsored shooters at the event.

Kip Perow certainly deserves an honorable mention for placing Ninth in the Big Bore Competition. That’s even more creditable as Kip was shooting a BushBuck 357 that he had built himself! In the Benchrest, Kip shot a BRK Ghost with SubMOA barrel.

Plus, Team CenterCut was competing at the event. This team is also backed by Airguns of Arizona.

American Air Arms products were fielded by AoA stalwart Jared Clark and the one-and-only Two Times Extreme Benchrest winner Claudio Flores. Claudio (below) had also made a long trip from his home in Chile to be part. Both were shooting .30 caliber EVOLs with SubMOA barrels.

Oh, Barbara competed with a BRK Ghost and Tony with a BRK Sonoran. Both guns had SubMOA barrels. As you can tell, there were a lot of SubMOA barrels being shot at the event with a lot of success!

I don't like the barrel on my 22 Redwolf but the 25 cal barrel on my Alpha is one of the best barrels I have ever had.

I’m not so sure that is completely true. It’s been reported that the DS (LW) .30 caliber 28 inch barrel isn’t quite up to snuff. And shooters being shooters, longer and faster always seem to lure in most… So when presented with the Easy Button, why not immediately jump to a SubMOA offering?

However, I have had a DS .30 (LW) 1:30 in my Delta Wolf since 2021, and it is every bit fully competition ready. I also got a new .30 DS Black Wolf with DS (LW) 23 inch barrel. I specifically asked for this for two reasons.
Firstly, the accuracy of basically the same barrel in my Delta Wolf. And secondly, the first, second, and third hand reports of the 28 inch barrel not quite being up to competition levels. Plus IMHO, 28 inch with a single attachment point is too long…

I also think many tried the factory barrel with only one or two pellets, like the AEA 50.5 and 45. How about JSB 44.75 or 50.1, or ZAN 56 or 48?

Turns out my .30 BW 23 inch shoots the JSB 50.1 at 895 fps exceptionally well. It also likes the ZAN 48 grain, and is the first gun I’ve owned that likes those pellets.

Two recent 104 yard groups, 6 and 5 shots, breezy conditions, DS BW 23 inch with JSB 50.1 pellets. Both groups SubMOA.
