Hard Air Magazine readers first learned of the Norica NTX 35 PCP air rifle in our post from August 2025. Now they are available for pre-order in the USA for the first time.
Norica is a company that has been making airguns for many years. The company is located in the city of Eibar, in the Basque area of northern Spain. It’s a center for the Spanish arms industry. The Norica NTX models are developed and manufactured there.
The Norica company has been manufacturing airguns since 1917 and is very proud of that fact!
It’s also a fact that Norica has developed and sold some very interesting and innovative air rifles. Yet, somehow, they never seem to have made it to “the big time” here in the USA. I don’t have a good answer as to why that is, however they may have turned the corner with this new model.
Firstly, the NTX 35 is attractively-priced at a selling price of $399.99. And this for an European-manufactured air rifle!
It’s a regulated PCP that’s listed in .22 and .25 calibers. Regulator pressure is set by the factory to 1,960 PSI.
The advertised power level is up to 33 Ft/Lbs in .22 and 44 Ft/Lbs in .25 cal. The shot count sounds fair, too, at up to 60 in the smaller caliber, 47 in the larger. These are factory specification figures, by the way.
As can be seen, the NTX 35 has a tube HPA supply with a maximum fill pressure of 3,650 PSI. Yes, it has a bolt action – rather than the more common sidelever – but that can now have a “retro” appeal for some shooters.
There’s a rotary magazine feed with a capacity of 10 rounds in .22 and 8 in .25 caliber. The trigger is two-stage and adjustable.
Plus, the buttstock is equipped with an adjustable cheekpiece and there’s sling swivel studs fitted both front and rear.
So, overall, the Norica NTX 35 PCP air rifle is competitively equipped for the price. The only obvious omission is a shrouded or silenced barrel. But many buyers would prefer to add an aftermarket airgun-only silencer (where legal), using the 1/2-Inch UNF threaded muzzle.
Availability is scheduled for around the end of September 2026.
Maybe Norica will score it big in the USA this time!
