250Z Check Out The 270z, Nice!

I would say the 350z is the Snowpeak Max 2 not the Max 1. Max 2 is the bottle version of the Max 1.

My Max 1 with big scope and flashlight weighs in at almost exactly 12lbs.

I do like the Max 1 but the 350Z/Max2 with the bottle would be my choice.
Wow what scope you have on that lady! I just started to play w my max 1. I have a light Pinty 3-9x40 ir I'll shoot in my back yard 25 yards and one of these days it'll be the vortex crossfire 6-18x44 for longer range. It's a heavy lady. Do you have a barrel band up front, I'm not seeing anything for the max 1 yet.

Exactly the same as you! I few years ago I sold the majority of my firearms in favor of continuing with air rifles.

I've always said that I won't/don't collect rifles and only buy/own what I have use for. For decades I've lived by that but as of the last couple years my air rifle ownership has grown above what I really 'NEED'. And now..., I know I'll have to own the 270z!
Same here, I sold all but 3 powder burners and one of those is a WWII Walther P38!

I really hadn't done any serious shooting for many years - life and business travel kept getting in the way. After I retired, we moved to several acres in the very rural Sierra Nevada foothills. I bought an inexpensive break-barrel on a whim and haven't looked back. I now have too many airguns to regularly fire them all, but that 270z is one sweet airgun (and a fitting companion for my 250z)!

Yep the 270 z is very nice but waiting on the new pistol with the pcp cartridge’s that will be the next purchase as since I had one of the first Saxby and Palmer that I built the first regulated airguns in the early 80s and have several of the cartridge systems including the Modoc. I just can’t wait!!!🤠🤠View attachment 20372
Bro, im all about those revolvers.

I would not rule it out either. I still like how SPA's air over barrel design works, over the FX designed system, it's way simpler, which I like.

I like them all really. The challenge going forward is to figure out what to spend my time on, more than anything else.
It really looks like FX spent a LOT of engineering time and expense to get around SPA's patents.

I own a .25 Barra 250z and a .25 FX DRS 600mm. The FX is a beautiful rifle but I never would have paid full price for it - I picked it up at an estate sale. Is it worth close two to three times the cost of the 250z? The Barra has a more power than the DRS and the accuracy equals and often bests the FX at 100m so I'd have to say 'no.' I expect the upcoming Barra 270z will widen the gap significantly.
