Others Bottle degass

A question for the community. One of my guns (Daystate Wolverine) has a 480cc bottle and I would like to replace it with a 580cc bottle. I would move the valve in the 480 bottle to the 580 bottle. To do that safely I would need to degass the 480 bottle, only way that I know of is to shoot it down while on the gun. Anyone know another way?

I found the answer to my own question, Huma makes an adapter for filling that they say can also be used for degassing and Sabre tactical makes a kit for just that purpose. Stumbled upon it by accident while looking for something else.

I'm sure you've solved the issue by now, but I thought you just used a socket and SLOWLY cracked open the fill valve in the bottom of the action, allowing the air to gradually escape from the bottle.

That’s the way I have always degassed a Marauder. I just slowly unscrewed the pressure gauge until I heard air. HPA is nothing to play with though so if there is a way to do it without cutting corners probably for the best.
