That’s so freaking cool and a great idea. I discovered this weekend, by accident, that my current tune will shoot 30gr Franco slugs at 960 and 35gr Franco slugs at 895..I didn’t re-zero the gun at all but I did give it a slight holdover(just an inch or two) when shooting a squirrel at 59y yesterday…. I have no idea why it works and I didn’t do it on purpose.. but I’m super happy my new scope lets me save more than one zero profile!

Good job on your gun, the parts, and your video. I watched it when you posted it and I laughed at how you handled talking about the safety, ...yeah, I get it! Besides the stock not taking a folding adapter, the Picatinny rail spacing still has me fuming too. Other than that though, I really love this gun. Adding the arca swiss rail has made it really sweet to use with my tripod too, it's worth doing that mod for sure, having it at the balance point is key.

What’s the advantage of an arca rail? I see them a lot but idk much about them.

It allows you to mount your rifle directly to a tripod without a vise clamp.

They come from the photography/videography world. Quick release mount system by Swiss-Arca. I use an extended Arca rail on my Ghost for the bipod. Usually it slides into an Arca clamp that holds the gun or camera in place with wither a thumbscrew or cam lock lever.

That ghost is sick looking! What moderator is that? How does it shoot?

They have a much wider mounting surface than Picatinny which naturally makes them more stable and they require less clamping force to do their job, which makes them very smooth. You use one for a while and you're hooked, I can tell you that much.

It’s a no-name moderator. It shoots great. I’d say at under 50yds the Barra is just as accurate. Maybe even at longer range. But, the Brocok Ghost craftsmanship and ease of tuning is night and day better than the Barra. But, it should be at the price difference. They are both really nice rifles at their respective price points.

hahaha it’s a good thing I can hunt because every time I shoot this damn gun I have so much fun that I find a new reason to spend money on it… at this rate I’ll be eating the rabbits, squirrels and doves out of necessity.

Is it quiet and inexpensive? I’d like to get another one but in .30 cal to see how that effects my accuracy.

And yeah those BRK guns are really pretty. I definitely plan on getting one eventually. The Sonoran with the sub MOA barrel would be nice for roaming the desert. Hiking around here is a bit rough sometimes.

Hmmm. So besides avoiding clipping why do so many people size up the mod?

What’s wrong with the Sonoran stock??? If you need me to test it out for you I’ll pm my address and I’ll give you a full review in about 8 weeks

I would guess compromise between efficiency and the economy of sharing between rifles. If it didn’t make a difference everyone would probably just buy the largest available to avoid clipping. The Sonoran in my opinion screams plastic lol. Just my thoughts.

Fair enough. I dont mind so much since my barra is plastic but I totally get it preference wise.

I don’t mind plastic either in most cases. Maybe if I could see one in person I might change my mind. More than anything, I’m trying to stop myself buying more than I can shoot. I did that with powder burners and ended up becoming more of a collector/accumulator rather than a shooter.

Im from the first Pokémon generation so as far as im concerned I wanna own/shoot them all hahaha. Sadly I’m poor haha. I got two baby momma’s haha child support ain’t cheap .
