250Z Barra 250z flush hammer spring? 0.0

My regs were fairly inconsistent until I completely disassembled them, polished the washers (mostly the edges) and stem. Then I lightly oiled with synthetic oil. Reg Butter on the outside.

I've had my issues as well. Not just this gun but PCP's entirely, these are my first. I guess I'm slow... lol. But it takes me a bit to figure everything out.

I have the 1st one shooting great now, but its heavily modded. 2100psi 950's with a Zan 30 grain slug. The experience working on it told me something was off on this 2nd 250Z. That spring change made all the difference on it. 2500psi, hammer flush with the outer housing and shooting a 30 grain AEA slug. Getting 930's fps and while not same hole yet much better! 1/2" at 40yrds. Now I have a better base to tune with! The spring combinations I now have at my disposal vs yesterday is going to give me a lot to work with. Less than $5 at home depot! Cheapest thing I've done so far. This ranks higher than cutting up a beer can to make a trigger shield for my 22/45 in bang for the buck!!!

The 7 words you can't say on TV ain't got nothing on the 70 you can't say here! :D
LOL
only one word I dont think is appropriate sadly its one I use far to much.
I just think about possible younger folks that might be around here or visit
and you could say well F and I would let it slide but spelling it out is kind pushing the envelope as they say : )

My regulator has been dead nuts reliable so far and I have not had to touch it. I got lucky on that I guess. Mine does not fluctuate between shots, it just goes down like it is supposed to.

It dosent really move it’s only when I move it if I move it up than shoot 5 times I have to slightly move it up a little more and then she settles

No, 3M polishing sheets.

No flat spots.
At the same grit level it is a distinction without a difference to me, but ok. The automotive wet/dry 3M sandpaper that I use is silicone carbide too.

I use mostly between 1000 - 2000 on trigger work. I have a large selection, in a lot of grades, because I mirror blades too.

I like to use 💧💧🪣 for that and let them figure it out 😏

But :poop: for me is about saying "like" for the younger folks.

Besides, what I wrote, I don't know what else you could do without going to a lubricant which does use a carrier, like moly, or a wet lube. Those can work, but you have to stay on top of them all the time, and are effected by temperature and dust. Let me know what you come up with, it is a curious condition. Thanks!
Where do you get the graphite

Maybe poking a dead horse here, but did the oring replacement alleviate your hammerspring conundrum? Mine came in yesterday, but after reading the slugs kit is a difficult tune compatibility with the newer version, I am debating on if I want to truthfully tinker with that, or just leave it as is.
