Spring/Piston ARH TX200 seal and experimenting with springs/kits

That is mighty fine shooting and definitely better (but not by much!) than my stock TX. It's sends the 8.44 at 840ish. Do you get some low first shots @jps2486 out of yours? My first 2 or 3 shots are way low always and then it smartens up and will shoot 3/4 groups at 30Y most days. It's 10 months old and definitely broken in now. I've heard it said AA is alittle over zealous with the grease on the main spring but I wouldn't know. I plan to fully strip it and inspect everything this winter. Def want to bush the trigger...too much side slop for what I paid for it. Otherwise it's 👌
I haven't shot it in a while so I'll get my chrono out and see what the first shots look like. Yes, the original spring was rather greasy.

Ok, I got the rifle out after at least 3 months of inactivity. Shooting indoors at 10M with AA 8.4 gr pellets, I got the following:

1. 795 fps
2. 789 fps
3. 788 fps
4. 778 fps
5. 780 fps
6. 793 fps
7. 795 fps
8. 792 fps
9. 788 fps
10. 780 fps

The last time I chronographed this, it was shooting 804 fps, but this is a different day, different temperature and humidity. I did not get any low velocity shots in the beginning.

Hey thanks sir! Good to know, I will see what I find when I strip it down this winter🤔 A couple others I've heard had the same issue with their TXs. I will chrono mine next time it's out as well. At 25 - 30Y the first 2/3 shots will usually be an inch to 3 inches low🤨
