It's a nice individual gesture but I don't think that it's a win for the whole community. People actively participating, and in doing so, building up their own points, makes for more of a communal win, with more people being active. This keeps things a lot more interesting then the same people just talking everyday and doling out their points.

Understood, but those of us who are “set” and are only purchasing consumables? There’s no way I use up my points. That said your “point” is well taken… Anything that entices “buying” is a good thing for the community and industry Hence my willingness to donate my points…

Which vendors allow us to combine our HAM points with existing sales or other promotions? Does Umarex? Hawke? They offer the highest HAM discounts this side of the Atlantic. An answer to these questions may help some folks offload some HAM points. As someone else mentioned, if we can combine discounts….

I got my license so I'm good to buy/shoot above that of course, but to make life easier at the US/Cdn border; no gun traffic is allowed across unless you do some SERIOUS paperwork. I tried buying a Diana 350magnum from Pyramyd as my first gun and they cancelled it next day when they saw my address. Options are: smuggling (not that I would obviously) or getting a cdn dealer to bring it in specially for you from the States. Sub 500fps is basically a toy they figure i guess?
