250Z Are these dings on the entering bevel of the barrel anything to be concerned with?

As mentioned before I'm a newb to air rifles. Just got my New Ver 2 of the 250z and went to polish the barrel "first thing" per Doc Halliday. I got the barrel out and noticed some dings on the entering bevel. How about taking a look and let me know if this can negatively affect accuracy. I'm not familiar with this gun to know if the pellet even touches at this point or if the probe suspends it until the head and skirt gets to the rifling. Does it make a difference that I plan to shoot mostly slugs. Does this pass QC?

Should I just proceed with the barrel polishing and see how it shoots/tunes when everything arrives and gets installed?
If it doesn't do well at that then contact Barra? I got it from them bundled with the scope.
Thanks for your time and help,
Joe

I doubt it makes any difference, I would just polish it and try it. It costs you nothing but time. If that was the crown, it might be different. I’m going to get some flak for this but here goes. Personally On a Barra I wouldn’t even remove the barrel to polish it. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with cleaning/polishing from the muzzle.

Scroll down to page 2, there is a picture of what the breech of my barrel looked like, and what I did to fix it:

To me, it looks like they didn't even dress the end of the barrel at all. I'd file the whole thing flat first and then do what I did before. I really like using the cratex rubber bits, you just have to shape them first running them in a drill and using a file, and you only use them for a few seconds, depending on grit they are incredibly aggressive. I had trouble seating slugs with the factory job, but not after doing what I did. Smooth as butter.

I put a 250z in my cart today about 3pm. I been wanting one of these things since they came out. Seeing all the barrel issues that has gone on though, I held off. I figured by now, surely, none of these issues would be ongoing. But then something just said, wait. So I removed it. Feels like I just dodged a bullet.
Barra really does need to jump on a plane and go to that factory and talk to someone that can fix this. I know I read somewhere that Diana has a quality control guy over there, where their SPA guns are manufactured, and you don't hear about these kinds of problems with their airguns.

Thanks for the reply! Does it make a difference that I plan to shoot mostly slugs. So my sentence about the probe suspending the pellet isn't very relevent.

You really want a bit of a lead, and SPA doesn't seem too concerned about it. If you watch some of the early 250z videos from shootinggearreviews (SGR) on YouTube, you'll see him struggling (but never mentioning) with loading slugs while shooting. It's been a problem from day one.

Sorry, I didn't actually answer your question, but yes! I really like to work on my own guns, but, that is a perfect example of when to say when. It is the worst example I've seen. That still doesn't mean that you couldn't fix it and it get it to shoot well, but why gamble. And where is QC for these? They're going to have a hard time selling the new models if people see examples that they are still not getting their act together.

I don’t get it at all. The Alpha comes out of the same factory at half the price and the barrels are fine. Is the 270z destined for the same issues.
Surely not. They'll probably have to pay more for higher quality and pass that increase along to the consumer. I saw comments that the 270z would be pushing the limit of what is considered a budget rifle. I was planning to pay a couple hundred more for what I saw about it. But after seeing those comments I decided to get the 250z thinking that surely they had put the barrel quality problem to rest.
