Are either of these events spectator friendly? I had planned on going to the Pyramid Cup as my wife was pressuring me in a nice way to go to an event somewhere. But, I had an important Doctor appointment today. I would just like to see what it’s all about up close. We’d have to drive 1000-2000 miles to go to any event. I’d just hate to go all that way and find out that they’re not conducive to spectating. Which is the better event from a spectator or educational perspective? I know there are people on here that have been to them lol.

They always have a lot of manufacturers showing off stuff, you can watch close up and have a chance to meet any of the benchrest competitors. Talk a walk down the field target course and of course buy as many raffle tickets as you please for guns and accessories they hand out! If you have never gone you should and possibly even shoot with everyone you meet just pretend your meeting me for the first time thats how everyone acts very friendly

Thanks. I’m going to try and go to an event. If everyone is as friendly as the members on here, that would be a very pleasant experience.

It's really interesting to meet people that you talk to on here, in person. You can say so much more so quickly without being misunderstood or taken out of context, that sometimes I wonder how the forums make it all. Especially with most of us not being writers or big on the internet. People used to be a lot thicker skinned too. You could jest more, and joust, in friendship or at least respectfully, though think differently. This forum is pretty awesome compared to some of the past train wrecks I've witnessed. What's amazing is having so many people in one spot that like airguns as much as you, when this is usually a solo pursuit and nobody has heard about it. I met CTAirgunner at the first NAC, nice guy! The Pellet Shop people were real nice too. The vendors are informative and unlike most events in other activities, know their stuff. You would have a blast at any event, I bet.

Yes, in-person has to be a different experience lol. My offline character is very different than on these forums. People have a hard time reading me in person as I have British sarky wit lol. I try not to do anything online that can be taken out of context or considered offensive. What happened to CTAirgunner? I liked reading his posts and then he just disappeared.
