Oh it helps! I've been using it for a at least a week now and big difference. Really helps the muzzle flip on the Mini. I can see most of my pellets path on it and can adjust for wind alot easier. Also just helps it be way more stable off tripod or just a front bag how I usually shoot it out of my truck. I think it's worth trying to add weight to see how it will work. Nice thing is if I need to use it not rested to shoot something it's 5 secs and removed. At least how mine is setup with the big but I just hand tighten and never comes loose. Wanted to get a QD ring but this was leftover from years ago so was free lol.

Thanks! I got lucky I saw the piece cause what was in my head that I wanted to make was alot more complicated lol
