I know just about nothing about PCP's, so I'm asking for opinions here .
Internal, external, none at all & who's products are desireable.

Thanks!

I can speak for the AA S200 but for me EVERY PCP I will own WILL be regulated.
for me it just makes sense from a stand point of tuning and efficiency.
?

Huma air makes a killer (drop-in) reg for the S510...I'm sure they must have something for the S200? I 99% agree with @pan60 unregulated guns don't interest me much. Some people will talk them up...then install a reg anyways, sell the gun, or shoot their regulated guns more in the end. It definitely works but more variables to take into account when shooting, not for me. Lane regulators also come to mind, and I do believe they make a specific one for the S200! I'd slap a reg in 100%.

Ezana - the answer is.... I don't know.

I still have to work out an Air supply solution but where I first assumed a simple adapter would do the trick, I'm now wondering if I shouldn't just "go all the way" with a new tube since sourcing an adapter for the Parker Hanifin male thats currently installed has been difficult.

The main differences I know of is; externally adjustable regulators or internal "set it once" types. Some machining may very well be required with the latter. Definitely will need to do your homework on it. Agreed, now is a good time to think about the wierd fitting delete as well! How good a shape is the gun in @Kragman1 ? I Did some research last night on it....Both Huma and Lane makes em for the S200! I recommend an adjustable one, what kind of power are you after?

I don't know if it's still available, but I have an Altoros regulated air tube for my 12fpe CZ200, gives me something like 70 consistent shots. If you can find one of those, go for it!!

I think it is a matter of priorities. If that is target shooting or shooting pests then a regulator makes good sense to get all of the good lower power shots you can get. Especially if you are pretty much sitting in one spot and weight is not much of a factor.

If you are hunting for game animals, you may only get a few shots and might be covering a lot of ground. Your priority might be getting the most power out of the lightest configuration you can have. Or possibly you have injuries that take the fun out of carrying 9-11 pounds around for hours.

This is why I like the smaller versions of the airforce guns staring at around 4 pounds not 7 or 9. I get a light gun that is easy to carry for hours, it is plenty accurate and gets enough power for me to take a large variety of wildlife.

It's good that there are different choices for different people and their individual needs.

I’ve had several T200s over the years. All but one were unreg’d. The regulated (Altaros) one was great, but I wanted to adjust it down a little more to just under 12 ft. lbs (was at 14). Took it apart, which is kind of a pain, adjusted the reg and put back together. Got it down to 11.5 for a while, then I started get reg creep. Up and down. Took it apart to fiddle with the reg and back together. All was good. About a tin of pellets later. Developed a leak. Resealed it, then had reg creep again. I took the reg out and enjoyed it as is. That’s just me and your results may vary. I will say that the T200 is a dang fine rifle as is. learn it’s power band and have fun.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

My answers to the above posts are basically to park my butt on a bench somewhere and shoot itty-bitty groups as far out as I can.
Not after power except to keep my trajectories reasonable, so 12fpe should be fine.

So for now, my biggest issue is to get a standard quick fill adapter for the industrial fitting that on the tube now. The gun is leak free so I don't want to change that fitting until it does leak. I'd really like to use it some before that happens so I'll know what changes I'd like to make when the time comes.
