Yes, in the HW owner’s manual it says for pellet selection that “every rifle is an individual” and you have to find what pellet yours likes best.

Like you have said, you are lucky that yours likes cphp, I would venture to say that if it didn’t it would have a different home lol.

That hw95 chart I gave you shows about 12fpe on crosmam 7.9 in .177 @ 850fps or something..

I think it’s in line with it, like you said, given the variances in the pellets.

I like that test target page in the picture.
Just funny all the test info but no holes punched in it ...lol

I also bought a springer from AOA and the test target was the same (no holes) so I am guessing they don’t do spring guns.

I’ve purchased three Airguns from them. I don’t believe that they actually punch the paper, my Airacuda has printed adhesive “sticker” bullseye showing the group. The latest greatest way of testing I’m sure.

If you purchase a scope from them they will mount it and zero it for you for free, I think that I would have received one of the stickers showing the group had I done that.

But perhaps if we asked them for a clarification they wouldn’t mind explaining. @AOA ROB would mind telling us a little bit about it? Thanks.

The "sticker" bullseyes are a photographic record of the target that was shot by the gun. The paper targets they actually shoot are on a long roll - that's why the "photograph".

One thing I don't know is if they also run this service for used guns or specials.

But obviously the best answer will come from AoA directly...

Maybe 10m is too far to go retrieve the actual paper targets to throw in the box for you ?

Gamo did send a actually shot target to show it suked .. I asked them how do you even call that good ? But it's real not we tell we did and show nothing at all ..

You ser too many guys in forums got that " testing" and the gun don't work or leaks or something that should of been a easy tell during a test they provided. ( For money) ..lol

As a service, and at no added charge, we test most airguns before shipping. What this means is that we do a chrony test to make sure the gun is in full working order, and in some cases we do a grouping test. We use a camera system for the 20 yard range and print off a 1:1 image of the group to supply when accuracy testing is performed. We do this because it would cause issues with our automatic feeding target system to cut groups out, and it would be inconvenient to close our range to retrieve groups. We have a team of test staff and our range is almost always being used by either service or prep techs.

We do not test every single airgun that passes through, but we try to add this service when possible. Most of the other airgun dealers charge for this service, but we feel it is a value for us and you to supply for free.
