I put a DonnyFL Ronin on my EVOL 30. I don't have an accurate way to measure how "quiet" it is, but subjectively, to my ear and to my 2 boy's we perceive it to be quieter. I think it's a lower frequency tone compared to the factory moderator which makes it sound quieter.

Sunday was calm so I brought out the EVOL 30 to play. I shot the first 5 shot group and was very happy. Not to be a group cherry picker I put up a new target and shot 5) 5 shot groups and remained very happy. JSB 44.75's at 915 ft/sec spread of 2 SD of 0.9. How can it really get much better...

I switched to the FX pocket chrony for convenience a few years back and it always works. That and I don't have to worry about shooting it (which I've almost done more times than I can count! lol!
