If I was still working in the machine shop I would make an AR buffer tube specifically for my Evol (and others) that would either have a quarter turn to lock/unlock or a detent ball that you slide a male into a female and voila’ the stock is short or long. It wouldn’t need to be a folders since...

    BOXES in the trash-sooooo liberating

Same here with my Alkin W31 vertical. Box is as big as a mini fridge. And there’s a skid too. Only way I would part with Alkin is if I die or give up on airguns. And if I die my son might take up airgunning as a default, if not, the wife will have the box and crate. Meanwhile it sits up in the...

I had the same question but figured the distance had to be different. The distance was cropped out on the 50 pic.

    BOXES in the trash-sooooo liberating

I unfortunately can’t hold on to anything so I always keep the box and overbox and any other packaging for scopes and rifles. Such a pain to ship when you have to search for boxes. And then there’s the buyer who wants to knock of fifty or a hundred bucks because you don’t have “THE ORIGINAL” box. 😤😤

Why dial ? I want my pellet to go as close to POA as possible. I’m not interested in “close enough”. If that means I’m anal.. oh well. Often times I am presented with shots as close as 10 yards. With a high mounted scope, a ten yard shot is way below the reticle center. I found that out one day...

    Others Effects of scope height

From my time playing with PB’s I always read and I think was universally accepted, to my knowledge anyway, scopes were supposed to be as close as the objective bell would allow. On a lot of airguns that just isn’t possible because of the magazine feeding the pellet from the six o’clock position...

Waiting for things to calm down a bit to get to gun club to try some different pellets and shoot some groups with the Evol .22.

Yeah, I called to order my Evol and asked for Rich and they said he had just retired a day or two before. Good guy.

Funny story there. A Paradigm .30 was on my wants list so I looked on AofA and like you stated, OUT OF STOCK on AofA site. So being I wasn’t really ready to order yet I emailed AofA and asked what the lead time might be on one. About 10 minutes later Rich at AofA calls my cell phone, I’ve spent...

Here’s the limited AAA porn I have at the moment. Got the Paradigm .30 a month ago and the Evol .22 15” yesterday (12/16/23). Appear to be works of art so far. Both have Element Helix 6-24x50’s on them with FX adjustable ring mounts. Looking forward to some range time soon.

Agreed, nitrogen is driest but is there any manufacturer that actually states how dry the propelling gas should be ? FX specifies in their owners manual “ONLY DRY AIR SHOULD BE USED!”. FWB manual for the Piccolo pistol “WE RECOMMEND THE USE OF COM-PRESSED AIR CYLINDERS WITH VENTILATING AIR WITH...

Until you put out the expense to PROVE via analysis your method is viable it’s all theory. What definitely, I think, isn’t known, is how dry should airgun air be.

Omega I own an Omega Air Charger, what is the experience in common with this compressor?

I had an air charger but decided I was going to be doing a lot of filling so sold it to a buddy and bought an Alkin. No problems at all with it while I owned it. My only concern was that grease pot. As you know, you grease it, IIRC, every six hours. The concerning thing was, how do I know the...
