Papa your latest pumper is the incredible hulk of pumpers it seems . I'd take my .22 Nova liberty up for a challenge with it as it's not too shabby.

I assume you are referencing my Ascent. That was so 2 pumpers ago. I agree, it is capable of 50 yard just fine.

More that I really like the simplicity of a Papa, his pumper, and his tin of pellets. Everyone else was shooting a championship rested with practices and careful setup, Papa ran outside and just started shooting.

Well, I did my first card today for the September 50 yard challenge

Daystate BlackWolf TAC .177 HP shooting the JSB KO 13.43 gr slugs at 1006 FPS - 30 FPE

Just 2-3 meters of wind and a little rain, so the slightly lower score is all me !

So everyone knows if you take a slug and push in the holes then set gently down on a gun case and i put an umbrella up to stop any glare the pics go through best for me needed 3 to get 2 good 1’s

My dilemma for BR - I don't have anyway to shoot 50 yrds at home 44.5 is as far as I can get. So the choice is going to the range and pay $20 hr or my friends place that's an hour away which probably not going to happen at least most of the time.
I am not a Benchrest guy anyway so I'll be shooting AAFTA Hunter style (stool and sticks) 20 FPE at 44.5 yrds. I'll mark all that on the card so its not confused with the 50yrd targets.

John and I were talking about doing the same thing. That would be a good way practice FT. If there are other interested, maybe that could be a different division

I agree with what ever the group decides cause its just for fun! And we need to keep it that way and we have this app that I don’t like but if you get used to it it does work pretty good. The whole point of this is enjoyment and improvement!
