My budget is set around 300$, single piston air and water cooled this appears my cheapest option. Anything I should know before purchase? For context I have a cheap 100$ spiritech compressor. I have a 4.4(? I think) Litre scuba tank coming and I know the spiritech isn't rated for it. Any thoughts.

Yes, absolutely a GX. This is one thing that is best to get right the first time. I have the CX2 and the CX4 and they are both fantastic for filling airguns. The high-pressure filter they sell is awesome as well. The CX2 for $269. is a fantastic buy even without the code.

discount off 10% with code: " GX10OFF

I should have had more patience and waited for these responses. I ended up purchasing the tuxing model...I don't like to return items but if it is a difference in quality?...I was told by a local air gunner how he's had good luck with the tuxing brand.
If there is a return window, I would suggest that you are very critical of it and just make sure that it meets it specifications.

Hopefully it has a plug so that you can easily test its performance. My GX did, the instructions said to test the unit’s rated fill pressure by timing it.

In other words, it should get to X pressure within a certain timeframe, not connected to an Airgun.

Let us know how it goes. There’s always room for more inexpensive quality options.

It will be put to test. I'm going to buy the gx air high pressure filter system today. The compressor will arrive in a week, my fill whip for my scba tank comes today. I'll test right away for that.

These small compressors are for filling guns, not high-volume storage tanks/scuba tanks. Only the really large more expensive compressors are rated for large tanks. The CS2 electric air pump was mainly designed for devices with less than a 60cubic inch tank, like PCP airguns. Note: They don't suggest filling over a 1L tank. It can also inflate mini diving tanks. They are low volume, high pressure. All of the small portable compressors will be like this. The $1,200.00+ compressors are for filling the larger storage tanks/scuba tanks.

I purchased a Toauto AX1, it lasted 8 months. They sent me a new cylinder for it. It took weeks to receive the replacement part and I never installed it. I moved on to a GX CS4. I wasn’t impressed with its quality or lifespan. They did stand behind their product, but it required me providing videos etc. of the failure. It also means that you have to be willing to repair the compressor yourself, with little to no instructions. The GXs have a great reputation and are also sold under a well known brand name. Hopefully your A3 will hold up as it’s bigger than the AX1. I use the CS4 to fill my rifles and an SCBA tank. It’s also a lot quieter, which important for me as I fill inside my hone LOL.
