What'cha doing air gun related today?

Maybe I should try a thinner o-ring or better quality before I give in.
I don't have personal experience with this kind of problem, but from what I've read, you may want to try a regular Buna-N o-ring, but with a 90D durometer (i.e. harder than the typical 70D used in air guns). Another option would be polyurethane, which is more abrasion-resistant than Buna-N.

I'm lucky enough Omaha has an o-ring specialty store so tomorrow I should be running to that part of town and I'm going to check it out. Worst part of the PCP is how much we pay on-line for gun specific o-ring kits. I need to find a few more sizes on my list of O-rings that I need and check it out. Having some extra is always nice and not paying 18$ for 1 kit from one vendor and then having to go to another vendor for a different gun.

Being really annoyed because my wadcutters did not show up today and feeling like we should get a refund on our shipping when things don't show up when they are scheduled to rather than oh well stuff happens. Stuff happens is not what we pay for, and we pay too much for stuff to happen.
Well, the problem is that many of us have had important jobs. Some have had other's lives hanging in the balance, and therefore did our jobs as best as we possibly could. We set high expectations for ourselves, and those around us. Others deliver packages for a living, and set commensurately lower expectations. Expectations are the root of all disappointment.

Well, my wadcutter/slugs came this morning. I have swirled them around in Lee Liquid Alox lube and now I will let them dry overnight. In the morning I will resize them to .357. These are all button nose wadcutters no semis 75gr, 115gr, and 148gr. Should hit pretty hard. Really looking forward to shooting them, especially the 75 grain pills considering that pellets are around 81 grains. Should be interesting. Why wad cutters? Well at short range wad cutters are awesome. Accurate if the right length/weight, with the large flat meplate they will hit like a Mac truck and penetrate well. They generally have several driving bands rather than being completely solid on the sides so there is less friction in the bore. Besides I just love to experiment.:giggle:

Well I started my day working on a Barra 250z for a forum member. This sucker gave me all kinds of headaches 🤣🤣🤣 in the end I was able to get it sealed up and it will be heading back to a happy fella.
Every time I work on one of my problematic Airguns with success instead of wrapping it around a tree, it’s like I grow as a person lol.
