Recent experience with HAM Points

After seeing posts about being a "points hoarder" and what are you going to do with yours I decided to participate.
Umarex had a 20% discount and I needed some more Zelos magazines so I decided to "pull the trigger" <groan>
1000 points here it goes.... No Earth Shattering Ka-Boom, trumpet sound or cymbal crash. Just crickets....
So I contacted Moderator Pan60 who referred it to the HamEditor. Problem was resolved and magazines are on their way.
It took me a while to accumulate those points and with 600 more needed before my next redemption, so I better get busy making some quality posts.

Just as a clarification, the HAM Airgun Points shopping cart is not "hard wired" to the sites of companies accepting points redemption.

This means that I need to process the redemption request, then forward it to the company concerned by email. That company then provides a code or similar which enables the purchase to take place. Three or four emails are involved.

So there's likely to be a short delay between anyone redeeming their points and confirmation that the transaction can go ahead. However we all do our best to make that period as short as possible.

Thanks to @BanjomanMI76 and all the other HAMsters who have redeemed and benefited from their HAM Airgun Points!
