I just wanted to talk about my recent HAM points redemption and let everyone know how it went.
Firstly this particular redemption would be my eighth time according to the system all of which have been with AoA.
So for this redemption I ultimately decided to use it for a replacement barrel for my Sniper, I say ultimately because I had already made the redemption and Mr. Archer sent them and cc me the discount request.
The sales team at AoA emailed me quickly that I have a HAM discount available for use and to let them know when I’m ready to make a purchase
.
When I was finally ready to make my purchase I responded to the discount notification from AoA and went from there with the purchase.
I do not know how long between the activation and use of the discount is valid for, but it was convenient having it readily available.
My advice to anyone planning on using your points based on my experience.
1. Read the guidelines for redeeming your points.
2. Ask a Moderator for help or a member who has made multiple redemptions if you have any questions.
3. Be positive that your HAM email is the same as the email address with the vendor where required.
4. PM Mr. Archer to make sure that he is aware of your request. (He does take vacations and trips across the pond so he is occasionally out of pocket sometimes for weeks.)
5. Please be patient as this is not an entirely automated process.
If you are seriously considering making a purchase and can or want to redeem your points start now, don’t wait.
