Well I (finally) finished porting the the rest of the Nova Liberty .22 changed the poppet spring for a lighter one. (Gained 25-30 fps) My only problem is I have not made the hammer spring adjuster for it. I stole the adjuster off my .25 cal Seneca Aspen(in my .177 Liberty now and I can tune it with ease!) as it is a direct match after I drill out for 2 slightly larger retention screws. Other than that I have a few heavier hammer springs from Alien Airwerks to play with. I could steal the hammer adjuster off my .22 Aspen/.177 Nova freedom but I want to sell those and I won't steal parts. Time to buy a chunk of aluminum and make my first custom piece I think.
I do understand. I had a Gamo Raptor at one time that I gave to my brother-in-law once I saw my first pcp.Well, I just returned the Gamo Wisper Fusion Mach 1 for a full refund. It is way too hard to cock for someone that is 71 to have any fun with. Very nice of them to let me send it back. I appreciate that.

PapaT, is the trouble the locking bar fitting into the slots on the Pinty rail?Mounted new scope on my P-Rifle (Pinty Timber). I'm not sure that I'm as big a fan of Monstrum mounts as many seem to be, but after some back and forth things seem snug and ready for sight in.
There was an initial hiccup with figuring out the rail tightening, but that went fine. No, my issues were mostly with the rear mount to scope connection. Pretty sure it was trying to cross-thread itself and other general shenanigans. Looks good on there now, and I even snuck out to perform some nighttime rough zeroing. Scope is now approximately zeroed for 20-25 yards with JTS 18.1gr pellets. I will give it a better zero in the daylight, rested.PapaT, is the trouble the locking bar fitting into the slots on the Pinty rail?
Good deal. I just put a new Monstrum 4X red/green dot site on my P-pup this evening. still needs maybe 4 up and 3 right for 30 yard zero. I have the unenviable chore of running strays that have been dumped around here, away from our house tomorrow. Don't wanna hurt them, just give them a good whelt on the rears, as reminder our chickens are not on the menu, and neither are our barn cats. they do and have killed them both several times when they are allowed to group together, and people dump them out here in the county, were houses are far in between. There was an initial hiccup with figuring out the rail tightening, but that went fine.
