Others Has anyone seen a Macavity M8 air rifle anywhere for sale?

A friend of mine is looking for a reseller of the new Macavity .25 cal, M8 air rifle. The you tube videos suggested that they would be for sale this year 2026.
Tried Macavity web site but no one is answering. Does anyone know what is going on?

I love my MA2 .30 that I just bought, saying that though, seeing all issues with the MA3, and that's why I bought my MA2, I think smart bet be wait a while after the M8 is released, so the bugs get ironed out. The M8 is one with the electric trigger right? Whew, trouble waiting to happen.imho anyway.

Correct on the trigger. Looks like a nice rifle inventory to show up no one knows when.

Well, here's to hoping they make sure it don't eat a bag of Richards like the MA3 does, did, whatever. They stunk on ice, failing mid review for many testers.

On the Macavity Facebook page they state Q2 of 2026 , and I recall a shotshow video with the presenter saying spring/2026 so i would guess you have another month or 2 of waiting anyways. Very cool rifles indeed, minus the electro trigger....I will be on the lookout!

Thanks for all the good comments. I am thinking of asking you guys for a possible recommendation for my friend.
He has a M2 and thanks to Mr Archer I informed him of his situation and he has boxed the M2 up for return.
He won't be without one of his favorites but if Macavity continues to not answer inquires is there another PCP in .25 cal that you think he should consider. Use plinking and pesting?
