Hello my fellow hams I'm conflicted?

I have a small collection of pump pistols and rifles in 177 and 22 and a gamo swarm maximum in 177 break barrel.in 25 cal I have a aea HP SS that is so much fun to shoot as a pcp . I am asking what would you do next ? I want a 22 cal good for small game . So a break barrel for convenience and not needing a pump out on the field? Or get the pinty striker mk11 for its good reviews and prices comparability to a break barrel in 22 cal . What would you decide to buy next thank you all in advance for your comments and suggestions. Let me know what you think

@Alex I'd either go for a springer or a PCP like the Umarex Notos. Personally I started on my PCP journey with a big bore.

I'll consider that notos in 22 cal . For now just looking to not break the bank and eventually graduate to bigger and better. Thanks for your input

Is there a reason you chose the Striker over others in the Pinty line? Personally I'm always going to recommend a pump gun over all other powerplants, but in reality all 3 have their positives and negatives so which balance works best for you is the answer.

Hi Alex, I like the Pinty line and would recommend the Thumper MKII if you are going to hand pump. It is currently on sale for $217.49. The Striker is a fine rifle for sure, but I would look at the Falcon if you want more power and accuracy. I have a Falcon X and it fixes everything you would changer on a Striker or Thumper. The Falcon shooting JSB 18.13 should be between 30-35 lbs/ft and a great shooter. If you take some surveys or look there are 20 percent off coupons available and that makes it reasonable.

If you have pump guns and want the regular rifle feel the Pinty Timber Classic is also a good starting point. It is a good shooter and is on sale for $202.49 currently.

When you are hunting, what is the maximum shot you ever expect to take? Then multiply that by 1.5 to cover Murphy's law. Then you can look for PCP's and pack in a buddy bottle or pump to get tuose number of shots.

But if you are like me and just love to mini-snipe at stuff while I'm "hunting" and therefore need unlimited shots, the springer is the way to go. Because you know one day you'll run out of air, or will be taking a break between 5 minute pumping sessions and a real trophy will come waltzing by
