Post all scores & discussion for the month of November on this thread. Fire away!

Course of Fire

  • 30 shots standing (offhand)
  • 30 shots seated with sticks
  • Option to participate in offhand only, seat/sticks only, or both.
  • All 30 shots for each position must be shot in the same session.
  • Offhand & seat/sticks sessions can be separate.

Rules

  • Distance of 10 meters (10.94 yards, 32 feet 8 inches) from target face to firing line.
  • Calibers .177, .20, .22 only. No power limit, any projectile.
  • Any sighting system.
  • Any version of the AR-5/# target. Any source (including printing your own) is ok as long as the scoring ring dimensions match those in the table below. Printable version attached.
  • All scoring to be done with a .22 caliber plug. In lieu of a plug, the head of a .22 pellet can be used.
  • Highest ring number touched will be assigned as the score for each shot.
  • Seat/sticks position: Any seat height, no back or arm rests. Sticks must have a V- or U-shaped yoke that cradles the rifle; no clamps or “hog saddles”. Must have only two legs touching the ground.

Posting Scores

  • Shoot & post as many scores as you like each month.
  • Mark one, & only one score (per position) with *** OFFICIAL SCORE *** as the first line of that post.
  • Can post scores as the month goes on, then edit the post you want to use as the official score at the end of the month.
  • Official score posts (or edits) must be submitted before the first day of December, as per the date/time stamp recorded on the post.

Just curious why the redaction on same session?
Fair question, should have opened for discussion first. Thought was to make it even easier to participate.
Thirty off sticks can be done fast & physical input is pretty mild. Offhand it requires more stamina, & more time if you're resting & resetting concentration between shots.

Just trying to eliminate barriers to participate, but in hindsight should really have opened for discussion. Not even sure the same session thing is even a barrier to anyone.
