Benchrest BillM’s Sept. 2026 X-Shot: competitor perspectives

Ok so ive shot 4 targets all with the drs like in the pics i posted earlier. Had to shoot a 2nd card today as i had 3 big flyers because there were 2 little bits of lead stuck where the tp joins the barrel i saw last night when i cleaned but couldn’t get them out. Got a 936 for the match. Oh all with aea 21.9 straight from the tin. All outside

A little wind and rain and thunder was rolling in ️

3 targets now with 3 different air rifles

Every time I shoot 1 target only, so NO cherry picking

Shot my first 2 cards, finally. I'm sorry Bill, but it wouldn't let me fix the ones that should be zero. I believe it is one per card. Holding my anchor spot well with the Ascent.

Appreciate your efforts in this Bill. At least I finally got out and tried one. Man is there a lot of movement in this ole Papa that can be seen at 24x zoom

I ran my last card with a BSA XLX Pro shooting the JSB 18.1g pellets at just over 900fps.

I shot my Daystate Alpha Wolf Blue Special Edition .177 HP this afternoon at 50 meters / 55 yards using JSB KO 13.43 gr slugs at 925 FPS = 25.5 FPE

Anyone can create a competition with the X shot, I have set one up for 75y using the same target and format. The only requirement is completing Bill’s 50y regardless of score.
