I wanted to share the progress on my coyote hunting platform build. This project has been underway for a while, and it’s now at the point where only a few small finishing touches remain before our season opens on October 1st.

I’m posting a few photos showing the build from the early stages up to how it looks today. The platform has been settling in nicely, and the structure is solid, quiet, and positioned well for the terrain I hunt.

I still have a couple minor things left to do — mainly some camo work along the sides and a few detail adjustments — but the platform is essentially ready for the season.

Coyotes have been vocal the last several nights, which is always a good sign leading into fall. With the platform finished and the area active, everything should be dialed in by the time October arrives.

Thanks for taking a look. I’ll update again once the final touches are done.

That looks like it would handle a porta John and a camp stove ! Creature comforts while waiting for critters!
