What is your favorite Airgun and why?

My Zelos. 22
Straight out of the box it needed nothing.
I'm still running the factory tune.
It has exceeded my expectations and Functions 100%. Not sure why people complain about the mags, they work fine.
I added a bottle for no reason, just wanted to try one for more shot count.
It is not ammo picky.
And it shoots .5" @ 50yds all day long with pellets or slugs.

“.5” at 50 is good, but the real show starts at 100. That’s where you see if the tune, ammo, and BC actually hold together. Got any 100‑yard groups?”

I don't even know if I 'm allowed to post among all these PCPs, but my favorites are my TX200 & a close 2nd with my HW97K. These is peace in the world when I 'my out on the range. Orv.
Doc, you’re absolutely allowed — a TX200 and HW97K are classics. A favorite airgun doesn’t have to be a PCP or a powerhouse. Those rifles are smooth, accurate, and built like tanks. If they bring you peace on the range, that’s exactly what this thread is about.

Mine would have to be my .25 Sumatra. It's very accurate and doesn't leak. I've had it around 7 years and the only problem has been with the fill check valve. If I don't release the pressure in the fill hose fast enough it won't seal and I'll loose all of the pressure in the rifle until I can remove the hose. All I need to do is use a fill station that has a hose that flows. The hose on my hand pump won't flow fast enough. I hand pump it up once from 2k psi to 3k psi just to see if I could. Went to release the pressure to remove the hose and you guess it, I had to vent all of the pressure in the rifles tank to do it.🤬🤬🤬🤬

I have only shot this one group at 100yd because of windy days. It was going great until shot #5 decided to go high left. I hunt so I am happy to stay at 50yds.

That’s still a solid group, especially with the wind messing with you. Nothing wrong with keeping things at 50 yards if that’s where you hunt most of the time. I’m running big bores, so my setups are built for a little more reach, but I still like to see what they do at 100 just to know my drops. As long as the rifle is consistent inside your hunting distance, that’s what really matters.

Well, since its favorite, and not best, that sure helps narrow it down. Kinda still a toss up for me though. My Benjamin Akela .22 or my Talon P.25 carbine. The Akela I use for crows, tree rats, blackbirds, those kinds of pests, when I can just sit out on the back porch and snipe away. My Talon-P carbine for lots of adjustable power, accuracy, and comfort. Thanks again Billm ! The Talon I use for the 1 shot reliable kills on fat raccoons, skunks, armadillos, and yes, 1 unlucky coyote that got hung up in the inside layer of chicken wire trying to get inside my chicken coop. 1 to the head at 20 yards and it was all over. So for me, its a toss up. Both have overlapping uses. I don't bench shoot targets other than setting and checking zero, just use them for the well kept and babied tools I bought them for.

I’ve got two favorites for different roles.

AirForce Texan .308
– I run a 150gr at ~990 fps (around 325–330 FPE). The Texan’s long barrel and valve design give it excellent stability past 150 yards, so it’s my long‑range coyote setup when I need reach and consistent POI.

AEA Challenger .357 – I push a 147gr at roughly the same speed. Inside 120 yards it delivers fast handling, strong energy transfer, and very predictable terminal performance. For practical hunting distances, this one shines.

Both overlap in power, but each dominates in its own lane.
Paint looks great on them, what did you use?

Hey Minnie, that is a gorgeous hat, I mean stock! Furniture is pretty important to me, but she cannot just be a safe queen! The HW 50 is on my bucket list, for sure.
All of my guns get shot. As I have said many times before to not do so would be like marrying a super model, and making her sleep in the other room so you can save her for the next guy. Here's the stock on one of my favorite.22 LR's

I either use the 357 or the 308 for crows:ROFLMAO: no suffering there.
