What did you buy/receive today?

That Airmarksman Quickie arrived. It works well and definitely faster (once I realized that I had to press the lever a bit more when it is attached to an air rifle than when it is not). Once the growing pains were ironed out, it worked well on the Sniper XR with its slightly recessed Foster fill. Will have to try it out on a rifle with one the is more recessed or has a rail when I get the chance. So, with initial, limited use, it is good. $175 good? Still hashing it out in the old noggin. Regular, cheap automotive unit pictured for size comparison.

I bought a Ruger 10/22 rifle today. Yes, I know its a powder burner, hear me out.
I'd heard the shop owner was also a airgunner and we exchanged what we owned and shot. He has a couple of FX MK2s and a MK3 and enjoys them. He also supports our conservation club with prizes to our raffles. As he was mounting a Weaver K4-1 scope, that I had lying around. A gentleman came in to buy two Red Ryder's for his grandsons. I casually mentioned that I had my Dads from 1946 and said even with inflation the price was about the same $3 then $45 now. The shop owner overheard that and dropped his price from $59 to $50. I had a good time and look forward to a new phase of shooting. I will be going back to see if we can get an event going for airgunners.

10/22 are legendary rifles!! I have many powder burners!

Well the Nova Liberty came in the mail today. I'm shocked at how quite it is compared to the XS60C. I love the rotary magazine. Does anyone know if it's the same as the Benjamin?View attachment 18218View attachment 18219
HAM tested the Liberty back in 2019. We liked it and found also that the magazines were compatible with those for the Marauder.

Black Friday was good to me. I have been promoting the Air Range I started at the Bill Cook Chapter of IW, a conservation club in central Wisconsin. My budget covered the costs for 2 Colt Python revolvers, Colt Commander 1911, Sig 229, Diana Chaser combo kit, Glock19, 20K rounds of .177 pellets, 80K rounds of BBs and 150 CO2 cartridges. When you can shoot 5 BB rounds for a penny, the kids will have a great time. With parent involvement where needed, kids from 5-80 shoot pistols at reactive targets at distances of 2-15 yards. We have a blast, and the younger shooters show us old guys how to safely handle equipment and shoot accurately. That is the purpose of the air range.

Fantastic! Thanks for taking the initiative and helping those kids from 5 - 80 enjoy shooting airguns safely 👍

Went to local antique mall with the wife. I found a Crosman 66 pumpmaster, and when I went back to the counter to get it, I noticed what looked like additional air rifles behind the counter and asked to see what was there. After handing me an F4 and Fire break barrel, she pulled out an old Daisy model 188 from October of 1983. Needless to say, I forgot about the others and brought the 188 home. 😍

Awesome, nice find. I remember shooting that gun when I was a teen.

The 188 was my second BB gun, I think I was 11 or 12. I desperately wanted a pumper to shoot pellets, I must have drove my Mom nuts lol, I guess she didn’t want me having anything too powerful yet. When I shot the 188 the first time, I remember thinking that my Red Ryder was so much better lol.
