I love my 347. I had to post a photo of it since it's 40+ years old and still drives tacks at 25 yards. I took a pic of that sticker on the stock. It came on the gun when I took it out of the box Christmas morning 1984 or 85.
On another note, I was shooting the Gamo Wildcat yesterday getting ready for the PCP gun I got the pump for yesterday with the rebuild kit. I swear that Wildcat is inconsistent. I added a longer trigger screw, it's like 1lb pull now, I have a Nikon Prostaff scope on it torqued to the correct specifications that has been one of the best scope I've ever owned. On my .223, I could hit a quarter at 100 yards with it. I'm trying 3 different brands and weight pellets. but I keep getting flyers no mater what I do. What would everyone think a reasonable shot count for a break in period should be? Its got around 100 shots through it I would guess? It likes the H&N 10.6g match. The lighter 7.6g Gamo and 7.4g Crossman pellets fly even worse. I understand the artilleries hold before it gets thrown out there, and I'm shooting out of a Caldwell led sled. Nothing moving in it. Any suggestions? I had a Gamo for a couple of years that was awesome. This one, not so much.
