Just wanted to share a quick update on my Talon SS. I started having an issue where the safety would stay locked after cocking the bolt fully forward. It would only disengage if I stopped just short of the bolt reaching its full forward position—definitely not how it’s supposed to function. I reached out to AirForce, and I’ve got to say, their customer service was excellent. They responded quickly, walked me through a couple of checks, and had no hesitation about taking it in under their lifetime warranty. Really glad to see a company stand by their product like that. Just shipped it out and looking forward to having it back in top shape soon. Big thumbs up to AirForce for making the process easy and stress-free. Has anyone else run into a similar issue with the safety? Curious if it’s common or just a rare quirk.

Must just be a rare quirk Mike. I had mine for over 6 years without any kind of problem. Glad Airforce came through with their stelar customer service brother!

my condor had the same problem about ten years ago I got tired of taking it apart and fixing it over and over so I took out the safety latch part and run it with out a safety and the trigger works much better I only cock it when I am ready to shoot it and decock it if I dont take a shot

It’s so bad my lemon law case on my suv was a lemon itself , the lawyer took so long I just canceled the case and said the “you know what “ with it . I’m not meant to recover $$ for a crappy suv but at least AF takes care of me.
Airforce makes a very solid gun and they can take a licking and keep on ticking! Oh, wait, uh that's a timex but you know what i mean. Lol

There used to be a video on doing that somewhere. Do you remember where? Mine has done that since it was brand new. I've sent it back 3 times. No questions asked. It still does it on occasion, same as before. I just have to fiddle with cocking it. Sometimes once , sometimes a couple times before it functions. It still is a great rig. Accurate and powerful. All I've ever had to do is replace the fill nipple.

Good move! I am going to do the exact same thing, and follow the exact same protocol. I never trust a safety anyways.

@larry069 I was watching AEAC's 7 year old Condor review and at the end of it he posts on the screen that there is no good way to uncock this gun. What did he mean by that? Could you easily uncock your gun before you removed the components, or only afterwards?
