The wind was light to nil last evening and I spotted a Eurasian Collared dove on a train car between 95 and 100 yards out. I adjusted my bipod and decided to go prone for the greatest stability. I sent it! POP! And feathers flew!
Man! It’s the hits made that get me excited!

This photo is the actual spot it occurred and the scope dial reflects the successful setting. 🙂

I am a new owner of a notos and a zelos. I was wondering if you did any tuning and what ammunition you’re using for your Zelos. I am all over the place with weights and slugs/pellet designers. Unluckily I don’t even have a chronograph yet either, but I am very willing to learn. Any help would be much appreciated.

Nice shooting Beanflip! These guns are tons of fun after tuning them in correctly.

I have the Snowpeak M60B 22 caliber version and it took about shooting 500 pellets for the regulator to settle in. First of course do a thorough cleaning of the barrel with Balistol cleaner as any other one will damage your airgun seals. Without a chronograph your not going to be able to slow the rifle down where it shoots ammo correctly but an inexpensive one off Amazon will do nicely. Mine was $45.00. get it shooting at about 895 fps and see how it shoots. They are sending them out at way too high of a feet per second from the factory, mine was shooting at 965 fps when first tested. Mine likes JSB Diabolo 18.13 grain pellets and also the new Benjamin 22 single die pellets. Only slug mine will shoot accurately is NSA, Neilson Specialty Ammo, .217 size, 17.5 grain ammo, all gun barrels are different in what they like to shoot so these are a great starting point! Everyone here will chime in with their thoughts if they own one to assist. By the way, welcome to the HAM Forum!

I love your cheat sheet! Almost better than scope tape🤭 I am currently shooting 18.13gr pellets vs mrds vs the new 20gr lights long range outta my S510....when there is little/no wind the 18gr actually do just fine.

Thank you so much. I can definitely handle $45. I will get some 18.13’s and the others to try right away!

It’s hot here today but I went out briefly this evening and got one Collared Dove. 60 yards and CPHP @ 965 for the win!

Wow Beanflip, I set mine up today for shooting slugs. I used the Neilson 17.5 grain slugs pushing them at 965 fps getting 36 foot lbs of energy! I was amazed at the accuracy I was getting as it was shooting dime sized groups at 30 yards. Definitely my new groundhog gun!

Update! 109 yards! Saturday December 28th was warm and calm at the in-law's farm. I ranged my targets and took one shot that missed. From that distance the Ring necks were undisturbed by it. I saw the pellets path and made the holdover from that. The next two shots each took one bird. It was SOOO fun!
Nice long range shot. Feels good doesn't it! Lol

I went out Sunday evening and made a shot that brought me that same great feeling! 86 yards , 11 to 12 mph wind from right to left. I held up 3 mil and right 2. Took the shot and for a fraction of a second saw the pellet at about 1o’clock and thought I’d missed. BUT then I heard the sound and the Starling target dropped from its perch! That’s the feeling that hooks me!
