Why not consider an Arken scope. The most expensive one is $599 which is 7-35X, but the SH4J which is 6-24X for a lot less money will also do the job nicely. The optics are brilliant and as far as I'm concerned, the best bang for the buck. You can see many Videos on Youtube about these.

Looking at the web sites bety arkin and vector there near the same . Maybe same just ones sold as arkin and the other as vector. Or just these go under arkin named / brand and some under vector .

I did, but I was looking for something that was more of a dedicated field target scope, with the best possible magnification without breaking the bank.
It seems to me that there are very few players in the field target scope arena.

No, no! Arken is not a rebranded Vector. Arken scopes are much better quality.
Yes, FT scopes are a cut above the rest. If you want to compete, you need a scope with the necessary precision, otherwise, youāll get frustrated and quit. Sightron S3, Hawke Sidewinder, March, Athlon, Aztec, and Nikko seem to dominate. Noobies buy cheap stuff hoping for a miracle. Waste of money.

I have 5+ acres to enjoy shooting on. I donāt need to go anywhere.
If the scope doesnāt work out, Iāll sell it and get something else

What I do with my money is my business and hres the same.. I buy she has little to say .. maybe " again?" .lol.

that's the way it is here and IMHO as it should be,
I want something I let it be known if we can afford it will happen if not I have to save what I can when I can or buy and sale trade or what have you.
but if the something comes up and the money is needed for bill or what ever then that where it goes.
like this last spring when the heat and air went out and had to be replaced, everything I had saved for my hobbies went to a new unit and well and a bank loan to cover the bill.
and if my wife's say oh I would like ? well she come before me.

Well, Iām sending it back.
The bad,
The image dispersion, even at lower magnification is horrendous.
I tried to set the scope as close to 24x as possible given the numbers on the magnification wheel but my Athlon @ 24x does not show you a heat wave.
The very small eye box, I guess that just goes with the territory.
I can barely hear or feel the turret clicks.
Sell price for it varies wildly.
The good,
Comes with lots of goodies, and the included scope rings are very solid.
Turrets are large and have a zero stop function.
The additional parallax wheel fits great, better than UTGās wheel for their scopes.
The machine work, fit and finish aspect of the scope is great.

@FL22 my son, I am here for you, Lol...The answer to this question? You already own one!! Athlon buddy all the way! Get the Midas Tac in 24X Zero regrets. All I ever heard was "Its a 1k scope for almost half the money" yeah yeah I'll believe it when I see it. Well....I've seen it!!! Looking through my 16X Midas is like looking at something with your eyes....except of course @ 16X!! Clicks are as good as my Helix, glass is far better. Sadly yeah it comes with ZERO accessories but I can live with thatWell, Iām sending it back.
