.20 Condor pesting video(S)

I've been playing with a Condor since late July, just couldnt resist their 4th of July sale.

Just great info you provide @Franklink I wish I had the time you put in posting, let alone all the shooting and tuning. I can shoot off the back porch, so a quick couole shots here and there don't take much time. Yesterday for example, shot for only about 30-40 min yesterday evening around...

Late yesterday evening I decided to put the PARD on it to see how it would work for getting some pesting footage. The PARD has been on 3 or 4 different guns, never quite finding a perfect fit, mostly b/c I usually use my guns for field target matches and need what a traditional scope offers over what an electronic scope can do. I don't know that the Condor will ever end up getting shot in an FT match, so this PARD might be just the ticket for it. Certainly is convenient to have the laser rangefinder built in when pesting. And recording was made pretty easy as well.

I am fully aware that my editing stinks. Even this pretty crude video took more time to edit than the shooting that went into it. I don't want to be a youtuber, just made this for fun.

All the shots are from one fill on the Condor, it gets about 40 shots/fill.

Furthest in the video was 119 yards (last one), pretty stiff winds.

I included misses and hits.

Hey not bad editing at all @Franklink....and good shooting as well! .177 pushing pellets in that wind would have been futile methinks! My back is out currently, but I drove by my neighbors field today and 3rd cut of hay was just getting baled up. Man the starlings and seagulls were tempting me, probably 200plus birds in the field! 75Y-ish shots mostly with the Ghost on its bipod would have been money! I can always dream I guess

Yeah the .20/15.89 JSB pellets do really well for as light as they are and for being only about 30fpe.

.177 pellets would have been tough, even with the .20/15.89s that have nearly double the BC of typical .177s, I was holding WAAAAYYY up-wind on some of those further shots.

Yeah the .20/15.89 JSB pellets do really well for as light as they are and for being only about 30fpe.

.177 pellets would have been tough, even with the .20/15.89s that have nearly double the BC of typical .177s, I was holding WAAAAYYY up-wind on some of those further shots.

I brought my Ghost to my parents a month or two back and it was wiinddyyy. I set up an apple that had fallen on the shooting table 40Yards away and laughed at the wind as i sent 3 mrds. Holding dead on....all 3 missed I knew exactly why and held my 4th shot for wind and smashed it. It's good to test these things. I set up 3 pop cans at 40, 45, and 50Y yesterday for the .177 TX and smacked all 3, first shot, but yeah...no wind

Shooting in the wind is a great way to learn how to shoot in the wind.

Another gem! Man that 99Y shot was money... saw that close shot passed right through no problem.

Yep, .20/15.89 JSB. The pellets go right through them. You can also see dirt splash behind them with the lethal shot on the 99yarder and the 112yarder.

Amazing even slugs will often do that, i watched a Utah Airguns hunting video on ground squirrels, they were sending slugs at high speeds and tons of pass throughs. I will often wait for a squirrel to be on the tree trunk if a safe shot is ever questionable, Good footage, I had to almost play it on slow speed to catch the edits (words on-screen)
