Ok I’ll make my announcement. After selling the L2 9mm and saving a bit more dough i cashed in some HAM points and got 2 different We The Plinkers packages from AOA.

1. Daystate Huntsman Revere Regulated .177
2. BRK Atomic .22

I looked through the general forum and couldn’t find a thread for new purchases. Maybe I overlooked it. If so, please let me know! In the meantime, who doesn’t love a thread to show off their latest?

I just got a new DonnyFL Yokozuna for my Gunnar today. Looking forward to trying it. It seems really well made and you can see though west into even the smallest details. Like the grub screw that locks on the QD having a polymer tip to protect the threads. Also added a Saber Tactical bottle clamp. Was hoping to move my bipod more forward. Not sure if it will negatively affect accuracy though. We’ll see. Oh, and ditched that awful stock that came on the rifle for Magpul PRS Gen 3. Was looking at swapping the grip to a nice Ergo….. But, I honestly REALLY like the factory grip. A lot!

My Revere came tuned for 10.3gr but was really showing a liking to the MRD. I wish I had more time to explorer that after discovery, but having a young kid takes a lot of time. Haha.


All I purchased this week is 5 tins of FX 13 gr for my Bullshark. I hate when I’m down to 2 tins for a rifle I like shooting a lot.

Been going back and forth on it for a while now. I have the original FX chrono and I’ve never had any issues with it but now that I’m shooting more custom slugs and big bores I wanted to be able to track ballistics better. I ordered an FX True Ballistics Chrono.

The last time I shot the Concept was 5/22 I think. Just pulled it out this evening and shot at my resetting steel rat. Smack on target full power and lowest power. It’s a great rifle. I wish they had put a little bit wider shroud on it so it didn’t need a moderator.

Bought a used .177 caliber Gamo Contender. Appears that it’s all BSA, marked Gamo. I was fascinated by the BSA mmc action. It turned out to be quite accurate and has been holding air nicely. I emailed Gamo/BSA for an owners manual, they don’t seem to know anything about the rifle, except that they don’t have a manual for it. I am working on getting a magazine for it, using an OEM single loader that came with it.

Last one was a TX200SR - I’ve yet to actually see it though.
Last two I’ve been able to shoot were a FWB P70 and a FWB 600 for my wife and I respectively. Want to practice offhand for FT and 10:meter rifles will hopefully fill the bill.

It made it to my house on Friday, no one was their to sign so they took it back to the sorting center Oh and some black Friday pellets, scope levels for each of my guns, and 2 mainsprings to try for the ol Slav. All stuck in shipping thanks to Canada post strike

Been good! Took a little break to fiddle with other hobbies and allow funds to replenish. Then my son decided to need stitches. So I had to re-replenish. Then a deer decided to randomly spawn in front of us in the road. So…. Re-re-replenish?

I’m back. lol. Gonna be watching for the delivery van this week. Hoping Utah ships fast.

FFPs are game changers. Hard to go back to SFP.

Was shooting a 10 & 20Y competition on Ham here using my TX (have never shot that close with it yet) so I dialed scope back to minimum. Was surprised how much the poi shifted for the Holdovers from zooming out! Hope to run both styles of scope still but the 9X hawke has been holding back the S510 a bit. Double the mag, clearer glass, and FFP, should be a game changer indeed. Never could get it to group well past 50Y, Hoping this'll help.
