Multi-day tuning of the Bullshark 177 for the 13gr KnockOut's. I forgot how much air one goes through tuning.The CS4 is getting some work today keeping the Great White full. I am only filling the rifle 20 bar over the reg setting and taking a couple shots to see where it is to conserve air. I've degassed 4 times today. Productive lunch breaks.

I shot 13gr Knockout into gel at 20y and H&N 13 gr HP slugs. The Knockout expanded and stopped in the short cross section I used, the H&N passed through.

I will try Varmint knockers tomorrow.

Love me some H&N slugs....we're those the originals then? I know the HP2s are supposed to expand alot more.... I have both. The S510 will shoot 21gr decent for me. Have not tried the HP2s....more reserved for my Ghosts future slug barrel? Looking like they will expand a whole lot more. Manufacturers seem to be beefing up their slugs hollow points lately.

I took off a Veyron 10x and put on an Athlon Talos 10x. A much better scope. The Veyron is a decent plinker scope, but the Athlon is significantly better.

Yesterday with the CZ200 Hunter I shot a few at a target then plinked a few more at steel.
When I was done I gave the barrel and air tube a wipe down with oil.
I’ve been using Air Arms 10.3 gr and still have a few tins left. I need to remember to try the FX 10.3 gr and see if they group as well. Once i need to restock the FX are a few bucks cheaper on Trenier.

To date those are the very best pellets out of my brother's tuned 350 magnum. The same weight H&Ns are super tight in the bore and shoot 100fps slower. To much drop @ 40 so hes mostly sticking with the FX ones. I bought them for him on a whim with my pellet order last year. Very different gun though

What you using for lube Soren?

I've started using Hill silicon oil. Something I have available and in abundance.
I'm happy with it.

It is a dry lube called LT-01 ordered from the UK a few years ago

Well I just smashed my long range record hunting shot. Last year I took a squirrel at 60 something yards on the verrry edge of my property scooting through the tree line with my S510. Today after TX groups I packed it in and started up the BBQ. Low and behold a morning dove landed waayyy out on a top tree limb 95-98 yards away (paced it out twice) Grabbed the ghost with my trusty 25gr Mrds. Held 3 dots (no idea if that was right) over resting on my deck rail, no wind at all, breathed in and fired. I watched the pellet soar into his heart. Dropped him like a stone. I just sat there in amazement. And then called my brother. And then almost burned the burgers!

I was able to get a few magazines in. I tried the FX 10.3 gr and Crosman brown box 10.5 gr with the CZ200 Hunter. The CZ barrel likes them. This is at 18 yards and not taking my time, because I don’t have any. Top left is FX and to the right the Crosman. I threw in a target with a single 177 hole through the target I am using for reference. 10 round magazine with each pellet

And I got the cabinets painted and thought about air rifle stuff most of the time. Thinking about what I want to do and test out. Prioritize the limited time I have.

If you want to know what color the bottom cabinets are, here you go. When you just want to get it done, you end up wearing some. I’m too tall to paint the interior of lower cabinets
