I know there was a post started about “if you could have one air gun” or something along those lines but in reality is there such a thing? Does anyone here own just one airgun or know such unicorn? How do you just have one? Is such a thing possible? Maybe if you’re not a “air-oholic” like I you can just have one and that’s good nuff.

I know of such deprived individuals. Generally shoot/hunt with a shotgun. "Keep it around for the kids" or "Had pests in the garden/garage/barn".
The only individuals I can think of might be the few that got a bb gun in their youth and never took up hunting as an adult. My oldest friend got a Crosman V350 about the same time that I got mine and never progressed to multi pumpers, co2 or break barrels as one would expect.

I tried but it’s a futile effort. One led to another and then another and then I just had to get my son hooked so I got him one, then another. Mea culpa!

That was literally me about a year ago. Just me and my Slavia 630 for over a dozen years oblivious to the world of modern air rifles. Well she is now currently undergoing a MASSIVE (for a springer 😅) rebuild. I will start a thread on it soon...parts are not plentiful sadly! Then I stumbled on Matt Dubers and Air Tac hunting, etc channel and was blown away by what people were doing with air guns. I researched alot and now I have 3 😁. Soon to be 4 hopefully, going for the ghost! She will be my heavy hitter, longest range, fury critter-giter. If you told me 2 years ago I would spend this kind of money on air rifles I would have laughed at you. Alot. Funny thing I don't miss the money but if I haven't shot for a week or 2 I get a little twitchy 😓🤣

Yep! Same here. When I first started looking at air guns, I thought “how can anyone spend $200 on and air gun?” My Crosman 2240 led me to a Diana 34 and she led me to a TX200! It’s a terrible addiction but what can I say!

Haha yes one, one of every caliber
Yeah but then you collect all this shiny ammo for that  one gun in that one caliber, some shoots well others not so much. Then u get to thinking....hmm maybe if I buy another gun I can save some money (lollzz) and use some of this ammo in it and use up some of my stock. And so it begins. I have 2 in .177 and soon 🙏 2 in .22. It's cheaper this way right? 😂

Yes, but that is how I justify buying molds so I can melt down the bad stuff and make new improved good stuffs🤔

I'm not that big of an airgun addict yet, I only have 14! Lol
"Only"

I used to have just 1 for a while(I'd say for like 2(?) years 'cause I was mostly shooting rimfire back then :D

Small off-topic: did anyone use Burris Scopes( Burris like those) on their .177? Are low mag ones should be pretty good right?
