Whats your favorite HW ?

My TX200 with its walnut stock is beautiful to behold. The problem is that I've always got to give it and all that blued metal a good wipedown with Ballistol after each use. Actually, I don't really mind . . . It's beauty deserves being cared for. Orv.

This is my problem as well
All I have.is.a Gamo Bone collector, but I would like to have a quality underleaver airgun. I can't seem to decide on the HW97 or the TX200 or perhaps even the Diana 54 air king. Does anyone here have any experience they would be willing to share on any of these rifles?

You just missed a sale at Midway on a 54 airking. Under $600.. $589 ? Something as that .. they had all there Diana's on a quick sale day. Real tempting .. probably regret not adding to cart ..lol

I’ve owned an HW95, HW50 and an R7 (HW30) out of all of them the R7 was my favorite. Should’ve kept it.

So, what's your favorite HW?

Have the hw95l in .20,hw50 in .177 and hw30 in .177. Love my 95l .20 is a sweet shooter but the hw30 gets the most use. Hard to put it down. Wonderful plunked and bird gun.

Hw does deliver in a gun .. that 95/R9 pretty do all utility , hard to beat .

Owned a few HW’s , my favorites are the HW100 and the HW44 pistol! Both shoot really good, and have good triggers. Part of my ‘armory’ is still my grandfathers HW35.

Reviving this thread because 1) I’m new here and 2) I love HW/R rifles and springers!

I have owned HW97k in .177, HW50S “Hunter” package in .177, R9 in .22, and an HW110 in .22.

97k was the most accurate rifle I have ever owned. A joy to shoot. I don’t regret selling her, because she was turning into a queen and deserved to be enjoyed.

The 50 was sweet with the moderator and as handy as a rifle gets. I dropped in a TbT spring and guide, Rowan trigger, polished internals, and tuned to 10.5fpe with AA 8.4s. It was a very sweet shooting gun. I parted with it because WA limits hunting to .22 and .25 and I ordered it to be a lighter hunting gun.

The 110 was such a great feeling gun! I loved the way it shouldered and the trigger was amazing! The magazine loading was a total PITA, but easy enough once mastered. It blew a breech ring the first year airgun hunting was legal here and after losing the opening weekend of grouse season, I decided I wanted an air gun that was easier to work on, so I sold it. I still get a pang of regret when I think about the way that gun felt in my hands.

My current (only) HW/R is an R9 that I dropped a TbT in, added a Rowan trigger, polished up, tuned to 14-15fpe, and replaced the long barrel with a threaded 95k barrel. It has a shorty 0db and LOVES the hades! It’s a great springer and probably the gun I grab when an opportunity to do some shooting arises.

Now if only I can force myself remember that I don’t need an HW98…?

The money I spent on others I could of spent on hw's.. lol.. oh well live and learn ..

HW springers are amazing I’ve had a 30, 50 and 95 all shot beautifully when I did my part. Well worth the $$
