The best rifle scope, made in West Germany, an old company with excellent quality, produced in small quantities. Do you know them? You won't believe that they are the best air rifle scopes. Very strong and can withstand all conditions. Search for the company. I still have two of them, I have only used one. The best scope in my opinion, it has not been affected over the years. Germany has been unified, but the scope remains the pride of West German manufacture. Excellent quality.

German optics are the best! I have an old pair of Aus Jena checkpoint charlie binoculars and the optical precision is astounding. What they don't keep up with though, are the new coatings, which are very much next level too. It would be nice to be able to get the lenses coated with the new tech because I think the old glass is better, especially noticeable when using them for astronomy.

I agree with you, the old German glass is handmade I think, I love this scoop I have had it since 90, it is made with high quality and its price was about 30 dollars, can you imagine a German made one cheaper than a Chinese one!!!

No, I really can't imagine anything coming out of Germany to be cheap. When I was stationed there in 1983-85 the DM was at it's lowest value to the dollar since the late 60's and I bought my first good airgun, a FWB124D, for a really good price. Everything since, ....expensive!

Me too, but this scoop I bought new for $30 at 90s and it's made in Germany, I don't know why, it's sold on German websites for around $300 to $400 and it's used , It was a successful deal for me, or the seller made a mistake in the calculations. The important thing is that I bought two of them.
