Winter Projects?

I did several base layers of tan then I wrapped it with string and vines from the fall veggies I tore down and sprayed one of the greens and then I used a brush and old sponge to blotch some colors in....here's the kids gamo rifle I did last week....since it's cold and I was bored. I think it looks better than just all black. I've got a mossy oak wrap but I haven't tried that yet.
That's awesome, all the neighborhood kids will get jealous and paint theirs now! Lol

I ordered a a Pinty Buster in .177 (Snowpeak PP750) a week ago. FedEx states that they never received it. If it does arrive, I have a list of things to do with it. I’m going to design and either print or machine a stock for it. Design and make some custom grips and maybe extend the lower Pic rail and add an Arca plate. I figure for $215, I can play around with it. I will refrain from looking down the barrel.
Bill, if anyone can make all that, and make it absolutely better than any other aftermarket mods, I know it will be you. I'm still loving, and amazed, at the look and quality of the collapsing stock you made for my AF carbine.

- My 3622 needs leak found and repaired.
- My Avenger needs leak found and repaired.
- I need to build my gun rack for storing my non-pcp rifles (had plans drawn up for year and a half or more).
- Reseal of my 840
- Potentially teardown and repair my childhood red ryders.
You have a handful to do PapaT.
I got my new solid 2x4 + pallets backstop and sides built, but screwed myself in the process. I've torn up my right wrist joint. Need surgery to repair. Had this done twice already,1 on each wrist. Ain't gonna happen. I always told my wife I have every intention of sliding into the crematory all beat up, torn up, and 100% worn out. Making that last wish happen...Priceless!

They gave me the option of another one or a refund. Waiting to hear back.
It will probably be sometime tonight. They seem to do all of that while we sleep. I know they do shipping in Kalifornia, but they office times are our opposite...least that's way it seems. I messaged them yesterday evening about 1030pm. I can't get my groups any smaller than 2 to 3 inches with my Striker at 30ish yards, and after a couple mags it starts getting little worse, so i have to re-clean it. I got return message at 2am, they said sorry, you must have a bad barrel, so they shipping me another one. No fuss, no muss.

I wonder if that's just great customer service, or if they know that they have a barrel problem already? It's unfortunate that my mind works this way way these days, for obvious reasons.

No, I don't think its a bad thing at all. Just logical thinking to me. From all I have read, it seems a very common issue, on the Strikers in both .22 and .25. But the Thumpers with the shorter barrel it's a non issue.

I would think that SP uses some of the same barrels across several models and what you mention is a possibility. According to another forum, the typical resolution to a Pinty problem, is to send out a replacement without a return. Seems like an expensive way to do things, but a great deal for a the consumer.
Wanting parts.
