Same in my area having nice days but 12+ mph winds and the gusts.. even at 10m or 50' the target rack was wiggling or swaying a 1/2 inch worth in a gust ..lol. my range I have mostly a croswind being it faves north to south+/-.

That’s when I shoot at the know your limits steel spinning target or the 3” plate I have down range.

Well, I ordered some AVS .253 slugs and some AVS .3033 slugs and now the wait begins. Worth every minute, they make some great slugs in more custom sizes than any other outfit I have found. My Eagle Claw is .252 so I do not want .250 slugs and my AEA .30 HP Max is .303 so I do not want .300 slugs for it. So AVS slugs do the job. Nielson only has two .303 offerings and zero .252-.253 so I am very happy to have found AVS.

There's a place that makes nice lead black power " rifle" type bullets . I use them .

Anyway one day I asked them if they concidered air gun / PCP slugs . Funny they never reply back .

I guess there a " we don't play with toys " type guys ..

When a company or business can't reply to a customer / me. I then feel I wished I never bought there stuff ..

The lens cover that came on my brand new Pard DS35 broke off the second time I opened it, and dealing with pard has been e long and not great. I decided to make my own from a lens cover that came with one of my vector Veyrons. The hole aperture is needed for daylight shooting. I ordered a few cheap ones from Amazon to try a smaller aperture.

Trying to make your own and no cost is a first step here.

I reviewed my bird feeder camera. I turned alerts off since my son has an ear infection and is teething, I don’t want to be woke up for any other reason. By this time of day the blue jays, grackles, woodpeckers, and cardinals haven’t left much in there.

I sincerely hope you’re kidding around. If not, all I can say is that birdfeeder doesn’t look to me like a mother that is “nursing” from.
In all seriousness, I’d have to double check it but in Florida even if you trap a nuisance raccoon I’m pretty sure animal control will euthanize it. There is too great potential for it to have rabies or other disease.

First air top up on the S510 since fall! She held all winter with no leaks. Shot a group @ 40Y and zero pellet drop on first shot. Grouped decent for a 9x scope! And resealed the hand pump agaaaiiiin.

Every "game camera" I've used been short term . always something goes bad and not do so good .. just got tired of fooling with or replacing.. something. They were good wile they lasted ..lol

Oh yeah she's working goooood!! 4 shots, 4 hits, 3 dropped, one scattered to a nearby tree, just puffed his feathers I think. (100% flinched) All while bbqing breakfast . I drove the 5 hours yesterday to get my new Brk Ghost but its not dialed in yet. I got the MTC 4x16 FFP scope to for the ghost but I don't like it much Edit: 30yards in the tree tops with a decent breeze going on.

Shot my new HW70. Have cheap dot sight on it for now. Tried a few different pellets that I have on hand. Nothing stood out. 3/4 to 1 inch groups. Just for grins I tried H&N Econ I think I have a contender. Still have to tweak the dot sight a bit but very happy with these results. 33ft. Five shots

I like it... Probably tighten up even more as it settles in. Of course if you're not happy I do take unwanted hw's gifted under my free to good home policy ..
