On the topic what’s your favorite pellet in .30? I’m playing with the idea of making a dual tune for the EQ where I can shoot both pellets and a slug with the same settings.

Zan BR100 48 or 56gr
My Gauntlet and Terminator love them
Especially the 56gr

My Evanix Sniper X2 likes Apolo Air Boss 49gr

All the guns like JSB Diabolo 48gr

My 45gr Franco slugs came in yesterday for the Karma. I got her tuned to shoot them at 960fpe. lol got another few jacks this morning… I won’t post the other side of this fella but yeah so much for “no pass through.” 90fpe+ out here just chopping them up haha.

Why did I get a .30 cal?!?!? I wanted a truck gun and what I have is a truck cannon haha. All jokes aside once the 250z has her plenum/ final tune I’ll be deep diving into the Karma. Shes probably gonna be my coyote gun before too long. Just need to play around with some big fat boattails to see what I like best…The power is there. Reg is at 2400(ish), hammer spring has only been touched a little bit and still getting around 35-40 a fill.

That's a nice shot count for that bad boy being a 30 caliber!

Heeey yes sir. I know lots of people shoot heavy slugs at slower speeds with lots of success so I’m not arguing one is better than the other. That’s just my preference. Like an even dumber Ricky Bobby I wanna go fast hahaha.

Are you keeping them in the same Kennel? Maybe if you isolate the first patient it won’t infect the others

So far I’ve shot the FX 50.2gr out of it and I was impressed. Pellets in .30 definitely feel different compared to .22 or .25… feels funny to be getting 93fpe out of pellets haha.

Mine start out leaking, buying on Gunbroker auctions usually means it is consignment from an estate. Not been fired in years.

So far I’ve shot the FX 50.2gr out of it and I was impressed. Pellets in .30 definitely feel different compared to .22 or .25… feels funny to be getting 93fpe out of pellets haha.

Terminator .30 is an absolute beast.
Unmodified with the 56gr I get about 110FPE.
It will rattle your teeth, firing the pellet and loading the next round. My neighbor has it. Seems the raccoons have learned not to come out of the creek in my yard.

I’ve been kicking around the idea of a .177 pcp for a while.

AoA still has a .177 Revere regulated with an MTC scope and a Donny FL moderator for the same price used.

It was a super difficult choice to be honest, but I feel like the Wolverine will fit me and is a better choice for longer shooting sessions.

Decided to see if the Snowpeak Max 1 could be converted from tube to bottle. Given some parts are shared between the M60 and Max 1 I thought maybe the M60b adapter would work.

Degassed the gun, unscrewed the tube and found m11x1.5 (or m11x1.25). Just a weird thread. Definitely not m10 or m12.

My options appear to be custom or leave it alone.

The most accurate slug that I have found for my Paradigm is the FX/RMR. They are a pain to use because I have to pull a patch every 30 shots to maintain accuracy, but they are accurate enough that I bother. For pellets my gun likes JSB over AEA every time. Either the 44 or 50, both shoot well.

I haven’t tried them in any caliber yet lol. I do know that .30 version in particular is very popular. What speed do you shoot them at?

Lol I believe that, I have purchased any and all slugs in .22 that I can get my hands on for testing. Guess which (the only!!) ones I've had to clean before use, and....they were bad! Shards on the skirt/tail end and lots of debris in the cavity. Beautiful lookers, but looks ain't everything The lead debris is from me hand cleaning just 60 of them! Hoping My S510 will like em, if not they go in the pile for the Ghosts future slug barrel.

@FL22 , congrats on the rifle!! Honestly I've been wanting a .177 PCP and it would be between the Brk sniper with the shorter barrel or the wolverine. Sucker for wood stocks....keep us up to date

I can totally believe that! The .22 in particular are the absolute dirtiest ammo of any that I have ever seen! The .30 look pristine by comparison. I had to roll the .22 in paper towels four times just to get the loose swarf out, before actually cleaning them. If you use any kind of liquid first the swarf won't come out nearly as much. I will never ever consider using the .22 hybrids again.
