Others What paper target did you shoot today?

I did not know athlon had a fixed 10x Talos scope . I'd of preferred that then the variable ones I use. It's funny I just shoot them on a fixed power . I like 6x sometimes 8. I think my scoped posted there mostly 6x. ( I think ).

Anyway looks good .. thanks
I’m looking for these to be in stock and on sale. I really want a 6x

Same here. It was nice in the morning but crunk up hard quick and blustery now ..

I dropped to 30y as is but , as it is blowing now I'd do good if I could even do 10m and not be pushed off ..

Shot in his just now " between" gusts ..lol.

Same hold/aim point as I posted above earlier . 1/2-1" push off ? ( 1" bull)

Shooting now I'm just wasting good pellets and time ..lol

It's a drag wanting to shoot in this wind 😡
It finally warmed up in the 60 to 70 degrees range here in southern Missouri. Along with the warmth came 20 to 30 mph winds so even with a 25 and 30 caliber pcp it's been hard to hit the bullseye. But I just had to have my fix, and still shot about 300 rounds Friday and Saturday. So windy you can't even keep a ball cap on. Man, I hate the wind when shooting!

Busted out the JTS heavies 25gr finally to compete with my MRDS which often give me the odd flier from my Ghost. Jokes on me, as you can see the JTS gave 1 (or 2?) fliers and MRDs zero.... I give up 🤣. Actually the accuracy overall was amazing! No better or worse really, @ 40 yards. Verified with some plinking @ 60 Yards. I like to use these targets for sighting in, new guns or ammo, scope, etc. Then break out the much smaller point scoring ones to perfect it.

Leapers used to make a 6x, its too bad they don't still. The industry has gone to variable power, i think if more people tried fixed they would REALLY like it.

This one is pretty banged up

This one probably cost more now then new.

Ugh to gond of but I can change my mind ..

That one kinda looks crossbow scope . Never seen the other .

Discovery had a vt-2 in 8 or 10 but got discounted or no longer sold usa that was nice and affordable.

Overall in the end it's what I can trust springer use and warranty. These just fall short . No real no questions ask lifetime as another liked priced.. I guess a pcp a guy can slap on a whatever works for him scope and go .. kinda why I just stick with my athlons so to say.

Here's that discovery .. comes in 8 x as well choice

I bet for a pcp that 10 with side focus would be sweet..

I haven't shot 10m since last June. I am rusty.

Looks ok to me .. what kinda cheap daisy pellet ?

When I use to get them local the daisy black box flathead/ wadcutter did a darn good job in my sub 600 guns and 10m- 50' .

I asked the guy why he stopped selling them and it was another ," I put the order in but they just don't send me any ". But yet you can get the super junk daisy pointed ones all day long . Go figure..

I don’t like the complete miss.

These are the ones I’m using

Was able to get my new rifle in the range today. Had to see velocity and groupings. With 25.5 grain slugs was getting over 1000 fps and groupings around 1" at 100 yards. Still have to play with the rifle and get things to settle down, but right now impressed!

Over 87 shots had an SD of 7.8 fps! That's with different slugs while forgetting to reset the chronograph!!

Over all impressed with the rifle, just need to fine tune before buying a Corbin set up.

A small sampling of what was going on today. Some spiraling was happening, so that opened some groups up. Was searching for a weight the rifle liked.

To fast you think and that's why they spiraled? I wasn't sure If slugs wound spiral with 'to much' speed, pellets sure do! 1 inch @ 100 I'd take that all day!

I think they were to fast. They were a lighter grain slug, something like 24 grains. I have some heavier slugs to try out, like the 30 grain range. Will give those a try and see what happens. Over all though the rifle is a blast to shoot and very easy to shoot as well.

Already have more magazines coming for it, and already considering upping the bottle size. Though I shot with it tethered today so I didn't have to keep refilling.

I was just changing scope mounts. I know at 10m it hits low for where I zero it at home. So i should be pretty close.
Bullshark 177 shooting 10gr Knockout Slugs
Top was the initial impact. I adjusted the mount to get it down. i used a rest

Below the bull is 10 rounds of mk3's
Below the 1 and 3 are original 10gr KnockOut's
7 rounds below the #3, 4 rounds below the #1.
