I'm already sucked into the money pit we call air guns. Hi, My name is Bill and I have a problem. LOL Besides the three break barrels I mentioned, I actually started 4 years ago. First a Diana Chaser co2 pistol bnd 6 months later I got the Diana Chaser rifle kit. Spent a crapload on co2 cartridges and another boat load on pellets the pellets did not go to waste because I needed something more powerful. Unfortunately I only have a 10 yard shooting range in my basement. Air gunnining is my cold month hobby.Warm months , my passion fly fishing.
I like to take one airgun with me when fishing. So the fish stop biting I plink. If the fish are biting, I wait till I am done then plink a little before leaving 😀

I used to take a Crossman Vigilante with me fishing to shoot water moccasins in the head. Killed one as big around as my arm and about 5 foot long. Only takes one shot in the head to do it.

That Hawke Sidewinder ED 8-40 sounds like a nice upgrade for your Steyr LG 110, especially with the custom parallax wheel on the way. Getting the parallax and dope sorted out should make it easier to keep your setup consistent at different distances. It’s always satisfying when a new piece of equipment comes together with the rest of the rig. I’d be interested to hear how the Sidewinder performs once you finish setting it up. Are you planning to use it mainly for benchrest shooting or longer-range airgun sessions?

Man I have to start sleeping! I was up and Amazon knows I can not resist a deal at 3am. I have never heard of the gun before and it was really cheap (under $150 ) I mean how could I not......... Any one ever seen one of these?

Not much air. Only get a reasonable amount of shots in 177 i would imagine. The drs 500 has 220 cc of air around the barrel i think.

Well shot at the reset for about 2-1/2 hours with the DRS 25 42 grain slugs and the 30 grain pellets about 200 shots. And the went the the modified Panthera 25. And hit it with 68 grainers first with one rebound and a he rest at over 100 ft lbs for the rest of the time. Think it time they make a recliner that will work with a bench rest and goes from sitting to standing to prone and resting the reclining way the rest of the time for my back!!!🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂😂😂🤣
