Today I ordered a Mad Dog stock (RAPTOR) for my 308 Texan.

Ordered the Edgun Eazy fill system for my pcp tank. Expensive but no more wasted air so worth it to me.

That set up is awesome! I received shipping yesterday on my SS. Can’t wait to get my hands on it. I’ve been eyeballing the 24” .30 cal barrel from Talon tunes but that goes the opposite direction of what I wanted out of the escape. Light and maneuverable.

The Escape SS is fantastic to me. The TT .30 is too expensive and may need tooling to put an adaptor on it, I am not sure about that. That barrel kit costs more than I am asking for my whole Condor. The Texan 308 is a much better choice for pellets and slugs than the TT .30. The Condor 25 can make over 100FPE. Even in 22 it can shoot 40 grain slugs over 900+ FPS. My 22 Condor is an absolute blast to shoot, especially with the regulated tank I have on it. It's a shame I need to sell it. The gun is a ton of fun.

If it does that might be in my future. Though I kinda want a CF bottle .457 Texan SS. And by kinda, I mean a lot. I wish I had got one instead of my Bushbuck. Not that the bushbuck is bad, it’s just REALLY big.

that's the good thing about the stocks is paintable and makes the Texan even a better shooter by making it stiffer, no flexing like it does in stock form, Lat this past fall i was tring to hit a 10 inch gong from 500 yards but, it was very windy here that time of the year, was only able to get on paper at 400 yards with 150gr slug. This coming summer i will try again.

I think for long range Bushbuck would be fantastic. Something I could get prone and take time to really stretch its legs. I need to take it to one of the longer ranges down here (few and far between) but really want to get a couple 100 cu ft bottles with better gauges to really make the trip worth it. Currently I just have a single 100 cu in bottle that can put me too the ideal 3800 PSI about 3 or 4 times. And the tiny gauge is less that ideal. My draw to the Texan SS is how handy it would be hunting. Significantly lighter, shorter, and suppressed. By the time I add my Emperor to the bushbuck, it is 62” and 14.5lbs.

It’s a tank for sure. Carbine or a Bush Pig would have been my preference, but between the deal I got on it and that draw to the high FPE number pushed me the other way.

The Midas Tac is in!!! My first FFP scope, (had a Mtc but retured it) Played with it @10Y in my kitchen that's about it, it's going on the S510. Dying to slap it on and zero but I want to do one more session with the 3x9 hawke and compare groups past 40Y. Also got mo pellets and some levels so all 3 airguns will have one now.... turning into 'that guy'

The Bushbuck is an excellent choice for hunting, though I wouldn't opt for adding a moderator either. Many hunters, from those targeting small to large game, prefer Airforce for their ease of maneuverability. I own an AEA Big 9 long stock which I adore, despite it having similar issues to your Bushbuck. However, it allows for more shots per fill, which is why I'm growing fonder of the .308, even with its single-feed mechanism. I've just ordered a MAD DOG stock for it, which should enhance its shooting capabilities. The stock weighs 2 pounds and 8 ounces. worth the trade off.

Agreed on the safeties. Bipod, tripod, bags, or other rest. Rare is the occasion you can’t find something to stabilize in the field. At least in my neck of the woods. If I walk in and don’t have time to find a stabile shooting position, I probably don’t have time to take careful aim and an ethical shot. My .02.

Well, FedEx said my Escape would be here yesterday originally. Then they changed it to today. I just checked and it still isn’t even in state….. Not holding my breath….

Delivery date has been removed….. But, it’s in Kennesaw GA now. So it’s closer. I just hope it gets placed on a delivery truck from there. If it goes to Austell Georgia, I’ll never see it.

After 4 scans at the Kennesaw location yesterday and 1 the day before (also Kennesaw) FedEx is pleased to inform me that my package, which was expected Saturday, is still arriving on time today, the Tuesday after…… Let’s just hope they don’t throw the packages out in the cow pasture again this time….. No exaggeration….
