Received yesterday, mounted on my .25 Snowpeak Max 1. Paid $147, out the door using coupons and coins on AliExpress. Price without coupons and coins, about, $180. Ships from US so no tariffs

Optics: Good but not stellar. Seems clear across all magnification.

Turrets: a bit soft, not a real solid click and seat. Does not affect gun operation. More just the feel.

Parallax: comes with a ring so turning the knob is easy. Without the parallax is a very tight turn

Comes with sunshade and Westhunter WH212 fixed high profile picatinny scop rings.

Scope does not have an illuminated reticle.

All in all, a very good budget scope. Would not have any problem recommending to other users.

Comparable scope: CVLife BearSwift 5-25x56. The Bearswift is the better scope. Tight solid click turrets and stunning optics. Currently, due to tariffs, almost double its $135 price tag prior to tariffs. So budget wise the Westhunter is a good deal.

It’s a big ol scope. I use mine at night mostly now with my target illuminated with a LED work light powered by a Milwaukee M18, and at 32x there is no problem

I shoot off a tripod so weight isnt much of an issue.

My night time shooting is about 25 yards. I have plastic fence (comes in rolls) between the fence and my detached garage. Primarily to keep my neighbors chickens in the back area of my yard. We have a gate from my yard to the chicken run. They keep the weeds down.

There is one place to get under and through the fencing. Some solar motion detection LED pointed there. My guns I use for night time all have LED flashlight focused down to a spot. Raccoons mainly but the rare skunk and a coyote a few years ago.
